The First Rain of May (Japanese: ５月の雨 Rain of May) is chapter 17B of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. In order to play this chapter, Leif must have followed August's advice and headed south towards Melfiye Forest in chapter 15.

Beginning log

After making their way through the Dark Forest, Leonster stood before the Liberation Army at last. However, even the lightly guarded southern gate was defended by high cliffs and numerous ballistae. Breaching the gate was not going to be an easy task.
