Opening

(At the center of the shrine)

Peres: The battle was lost...

Peres: I wish I could have been at General Murdock's side when he fell.
Soldier: ...I share your feelings.
Peres: We carry out our final orders from General Murdock as planned. We will defend the legendary weapon to our deaths if need be. Apocalypse, the Elder Revelation, must not fall into enemy hands!

(At the entrance of the shrine)

Roy: There is a legendary weapon in this place?
Melady: Yes, I believe so. All I've heard are rumors from other soldiers, but there is apparently a tome meant to protect the shrine from intruders.
