Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.
|
This is a relatively short and simple battle against four or five Demonic Beasts. Like the previous map, green NPC units are scattered about and need rescuing. Like before, they also have healing items and aren't afraid to use them. Also note the chest tucked away in the southeast corner - send a Thief over to pick that up. Hit the nearest two Beasts fast and hard with gambits, break their armor, and break their necks. Jeralt aggros on turn 2; he's hardy enough that you shouldn't need to worry too much about him. Once the central Demonic Beast is down, push north and take on the northern beasts. You should also send your mounted units and the Thief who nabbed that chest to deal with the northeast beast before it eats that poor student. As long as you play fast and aggressive, you'll come out on top.
