The Alterspire (Japanese: 異界の塔 Otherworldly Tower) is the fifth and final sidequest in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. In order to reach this chapter, barring the use of an exploit, the player must complete Chapter 24 with Tiki dead and the Falchion not in their possession.

Plot

Main article: The Alterspire/Script

Marth and his companions arrive at the Alterspire, and are confronted by a group of mysterious soldiers. Marth reasons that they are the Keepers whose test he must pass and decides to defeat them and seize the tower. After doing so, Marth discovers a hidden set of stairs leading to a coffin with markings similar to those in the Fane of Raman. The coffin opens to reveal Nagi, an amnesiac divine dragon who somehow has the Falchion in her possession. She asks Marth to take her with him so she can aid him in the final battle.

It appears to have been changed so that the chapter and locations that show up on the chapter splash screen are not the same; this trait is shared with Port Warren, Helena Castle, and The Lair of Fire.
