The Tarvos is one of the three national treasure weapons of Daein. In preparation for going to war with the Laguz Alliance, King Pelleas entrusted Tarvos and the other treasures to General Micaiah, who in turn passed it on to Nolan; it is Nolan's personal weapon.
Along with the Lughnasadh and Caladbolg, other Daein treasures, the Tarvos appears exclusively in the NTSC and PAL releases of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, implemented into the game during the translation process, and does not exist in the Japanese version.
