The Tarvos (Japanese: タルヴォス) class is a monster class that appears in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. A tarvos appears to be an evil half-man, half-bull creature similar to a centaur. They are an enemy-only class, and the Maelduin class appears to be a stronger version of this class.
Tarvoses are harder enemies than most monsters. They have quite high HP and defense, but low skill, which means they will rarely hit. They can be quite easily defeated with sword-using units, or magic-using units, since they have very low resistances. They are treated as mounted units, and as such are vulnerable to weapons such as horseslayers.
