— Tarba

Tarba (Japanese: バンバ Banba) is a Nohrian highwayman robbing people who approach the entrance to Shiro's Deeprealm, and the capturable boss of paralogue 7 of Fire Emblem Fates. As Shiro flees his Deeprealm, Tarba is lying in wait and demands that Shiro hand over his weapon and armor or else be killed; Corrin's army arrives in time to protect Shiro, ultimately leaving Tarba defeated. As a capturable boss, Tarba can be captured by Orochi or Niles and placed into the My Castle's prison if one is present, then recruited into the player's army as a bonus unit from there.

Starting stats and growth rates
This section has been marked as a stub. Please help improve the page by adding information.
- As Tarba appears in an environment where his level, stats, and weapon ranks scale according to the player's progress, the presented stats may be higher than shown here. The stats with two values separated by a ~ denote a range; the figure to the left of the ~ corresponds to a chapter 14 Birthright playthrough, the earliest possible point where he can be encountered in that route (he cannot be encountered in Revelation until having reached at least chapter 18), while the figure to the right of the ~ corresponds to a chapter 27 playthrough, the latest possible point a save file can be positioned at.
Stats may be higher depending on game progress.

Trivia
- As the paralogue chapter in question is first accessed in conditions where most child paralogues not playable in all three campaigns scale their encounterable units, bosses included, four levels and similar scaling conditions appear to be applied to the chapter in question, it is possible that Tarba's level is internally stored as 2, then scaled up to at least level 6 by the time of his initial possible appearance.
