What does the "j" mean?

For Jerme`s stats, there`s a "j" included in a few part, for example "Chapter 25jE/27jH, Normal/Eliwood Hard". Does the "j" refer to the Japanese version?

No, it refers to Jerme's varation of the chapter. Likewise, the "k" on Kenneth likewise denotes Kenneth's variation of the chapter. These were so chosen so as to avoid arbitrary "a" and "b" designations that might cause some people to think one or the other is clearly canonical over the other.

The "j" and "k" are lowercased here so as to make clearer the chapter variation denotation from the game route denotation (the latter of which is the more familiar capitalized "E" and "H".) --Shiningpikablu252 (talk) 03:45, 7 July 2017 (UTC)

Kana spelling

This is just to double-check the spelling of Jerme's Japanese name, since I don't have access to the original Japanese script and it looks like an easy misspelling: Is it ジュルメ (Jurume) or ジェルメ (Jerume)? Pavielpetrovich (talk) 20:18, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
