The Sword Flier (Japanese: ソードペガサス Sword Pegasus) is a base flying, pegasus-mounted class which debuted in Fire Emblem Engage. It is functionally similar to the Pegasus Knight and Sky Knight classes of previous entries in the Fire Emblem series, being basic flying classes that can only use a single weapon type; unlike the previous two however, the Sword Flier uses swords instead of lances.

Much like the class's predecessors, Sword Fliers are known for having high speed and resistance that make them well-suited for defeating magic-wielding enemies. However, they are vulnerable against stronger physical enemies due to their low HP and defense, and they are critically weak to bows.

Sword Fliers may promote to either Griffin Knight or Wyvern Knight.
