The Stone Shard (Japanese: 魔石のかけら, lit. Demon Stone Fragment) is an unused monster weapon from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It doesn't have its own icon, and uses the Red Gem icon as a placeholder. Like all other unused items, it has only "DUMMY" for a description, a way of clearly pointing out to beta testers that it is an unused (or "dummied out") weapon, should not appear in normal gameplay and that its appearance should be considered a bug to report.
While in and of itself it is unremarkable, it is notable in that it was frequently seen in pre-release material for the game, consistently appearing as the weapon used by monsters in magazine previews for the game. It was also present in the leaked prototype build. In all of these early appearances, it instead used the Firestone / Flametongue icon.

Trivia
- Unlike its description in the final release, the Stone Shard has a proper help description in the prototype. With said description being: "魔物に力を与える", meaning something along the lines of "Gives monsters strength".
