Fire Emblem: Thracia 776

Stone (Japanese: ストーン Stone) is a dark tome which inflicts the Petrify status condition upon enemies. In its debut appearance in Thracia 776, the tome was wielded by Veld of the Lopt Sect, was used to petrify Eyvel, and its effects could only be reversed with the Kia staff. In The Sacred Stones, Stone acts as a dark-magic monster weapon wielded by Gorgons; like most monster weapons, it is not depicted as physically being a magic tome.

Trivia

  • According to The Sacred Stones prototype, Stone was one of the first monster weapons implemented, with the placeholder Stone Shard being before it in the item listing. Despite this, the version of Stone in the prototype is not fully functional and crashes the game when used.
    • Prototype Stone's stats are the same as the final revision of The Sacred Stones with one exception: it is an actual dark tome, using the Flux icon and has a requisite weapon level of D.
