Kris and Sirius

First conversation

Sirius: Hm, you are...
(If Kris is male)
Kris: Kris. And no need to tell me... You're Sir Sirius.
Sirius: Indeed. ...Hmph, you're a rude fellow. That murderous hatred... Is it directed at me?
(If Kris is female)
Kris: My name is Kris. Sir Sirius... I presume?
Sirius: Indeed. ...Hmph, you're rather rude. That murderous hatred... Is it directed at me?

Kris: That's right. I don't trust you one bit. First of all, you hide your face and identity. "Sirius" isn't even your real name, is it?
Sirius: ...
(If Kris is male)
Kris: What makes me most suspicious is your stance. You never leave any openings. I can tell you're a warrior of great renown.
(If Kris is female)
Kris: What makes me most suspicious is your stance... You never leave any openings. I can tell you're a warrior of great renown.

Sirius: You speak of my defensive stance...? That's perfectly natural in a battlefield.
(If Kris is male)
Kris: Don't change the subject. You are no mere knight! Who the hell are you?
(If Kris is female)
Kris: Don't change the subject. You are no mere knight! Tell me. Where are you from?

Sirius: What will you do if I don't answer?
(If Kris is male)
Kris: Prince Marth is very kind. However, I know there are scoundrels who would take advantage of his kindness. I shall protect Prince Marth from these villains, at all costs.
(If Kris is female)
Kris: Prince Marth is very kind... However, I know there are scoundrels who would take advantage of his kindness. I shall protect Prince Marth from these villains, even if it costs me my life.

Sirius: ...It seems we won't be able to solve this with words alone.
Kris: My thoughts exactly.
Sirius: Then, here I come.
Kris: Wha!? You're too... fast.
Sirius: Be at peace. It was a blunt strike.
Kris: Kuh...

Second conversation

Kris: Sir Sirius!
Sirius: Sir/Dame Kris, was it?
Kris: I was most rude to you the other day. Please forgive me! I can see from the way you fight... that you are a true knight.
Sirius: No, the fault is not yours. Please raise your head. I deliberately provoked the fight so that I could test you. It is I who was at fault. I wish to ask for your forgiveness.
Kris: Wha...! Sir Sirius, what are you--
Sirius: Your actions the other day were virtuous, and befitting of a knight. I know a man who brought forth great tragedy because he was unable to do what you did.
Kris: Sir... Sirius?
Sirius: Sir/Dame Kris. I'll answer the question you asked me the other day. My true name is--
Kris: No, Sir Sirius. Do not concern yourself. I'm sure I'd be better off not knowing your true identity, right?
Sirius: Ah!
Kris: I've come to understand you, thanks to that encounter. Indeed, there is no way someone Prince Marth accepted could be an evil man.
Sirius: ...Sir/Dame Kris.
Kris: Sir Sirius. I am counting on you from now on.
Sirius: I am in your debt.

Third conversation

Kris: Sir Sirius.
Sirius: Sir/Dame Kris.
(If Kris is male)
Kris: It looks like you're maintaining your weapons.
(If Kris is female)
Kris: You are... maintaining your weapons, correct?

Sirius: That's right. My weapon once broke during a mission... Since then, I've been ever vigilant.
Kris: Oh? So even someone as skilled as you made a simple error like that once...? Was it some kind of special mission?
Sirius: Yes. I had to escort someone... or rather, help her escape into exile. I had to protect a lone bishop, together with a few other soldiers... as we crossed a bandit-filled mountain. That was the plan.
(If Kris is male)
Kris: That sounds quite difficult.
(If Kris is female)
Kris: So you had to defend and escape... That sounds rather difficult.

Sirius: Yes. The main problem was that there were simply too many enemies. If my mighty lance were to break, it'd be all over.
Kris: I see... that's true.
Sirius: Well, that's one reason... But there's another reason I need to take care of my weapon.
Kris: Hm? And what would that be?
Sirius: I can't risk a surprise attack from a knight overzealous in his devotion to his liege.
(If Kris is male)
Kris: Gah... I'm sorry about that.
(If Kris is female)
Kris: Oh, y-you mean... I'm really, really sorry about that...

Sirius: Haha, how rude of me.
Kris: ...Wait! There's someone here...!
Sirius: Sir/Dame Kris, behind you!
(If Kris is male)
Kris: What...!? Kuh...
(If Kris is female)
Kris: Wha--Oh no...

Sirius: Look out!
(If Kris is male)
Kris: ...Aah!! ...Did... you save me? It seems the assailant has fled. I am in your debt. If you hadn't helped me, I'd be... Ah! Sir Sirius, your mask...!
(If Kris is female)
Kris: ...Aah!! ...You... saved me. It seems the enemy managed to escape... I'm sorry. If you hadn't helped me, I'd be... Ah! Sir Sirius, your mask...!

Sirius: ...I want you to forget what you just saw. We'll be even, then.
Kris: I understand.

Belf and Sirius

First conversation

Belf: Sir Sirius! I wonder if you could spare a moment?
Sirius: Sir Belf... What business do you have with me?
Belf: Your mask... I'd like to see the face behind it.
Sirius: ...!
Belf: I understand that you have your reasons for hiding your indentity. But... Still, I'd like to ask this of you.
Sirius: ...And if I say no?
Belf: Then please tell me why. I was once a Sable Knight of Grust. I was one of the enemy then. Even so, Prince Marth has accepted me into his army. The prince looks beyond trivialties such as nationality... There should be no need to disguise yourself, I would think.
Sirius: Sir Belf, I believe you've mistaken me for another. Please leave me be.
Belf: General!
Sirius: You are mistaken. I am no general. I am Sirius... Merely Sirius.

Second conversation

Belf: That was a magnificent battle, Sir Sirius.
Sirius: Sir Belf... I recall asking you to leave me be.
Belf: It matters not if you wear a mask. I can tell from your fighting style. That's Grustian spear technique.
Sirius: It seems that our misunderstanding still stands. 'Tis a pity.
Belf: I understand. If you are so strongly intent on hiding yourself, I won't force you. But... At least tell me. Why? Why go so far to hide it?
Sirius: ......
Belf: General!
Sirius: For argument's sake, if I were in fact the Grustian general you claim I am, Sir Belf... What do you think would result from my revealing myself? A resistance would rise, and I would be their symbol. I would provide the impetus needed to free Grust. I hardly think now is the time for further Grustian blood to be spilt.
Belf: ...!
Sirius: Now, if you'll excuse me.
Belf: ......

Third conversation

Belf: Sir Sirius. I'd like to apologize for my rudeness. I... seem to have made a grave error.
Sirius: ...What matters is that you understand. Very well, I shall take my leave.
Belf: Please wait. Would you... mind keeping me company...? I want to speak with you. About the past, I mean.
Sirius: ......
Belf: The general who led the Grustian Sable Order, which I was a member of, was a wonderful person. He used to tell us this: A knight's spear is not for himself. It exists to protect the weak. I've come thus far holding his words to my heart. But... even though I chose this path, I wonder if I made the right choice... Sir Sirius, if the general were alive, do you think he'd have anything to say to me?
Sirius: Sir Belf... I am proud to have you as my subordinate. I want you to keep protecting the people, in my stead, for I've already departed from Archanea...
Belf: ...!
Sirius: I... I would imagine he would say something along those lines.
Belf: ...Thank you... so much!
