The Shining Bow (Japanese: シャイニングボウ Shining Bow), also known as the Bright Bow (Japanese: ブライトボウ Bright Bow), is a magic bow which made its first legitimate appearance in Fire Emblem Fates, although it is also present in an unused state in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. It uses light magic to attack at both the standard bow long range and, unlike ordinary bows, at close range. Its attacks are fuelled by the unit's magic stat and target the foe's resistance, instead of strength and defense. However, Fates gives it several drawbacks, in that it is unable to deal critical hits and also prevents the user's offensive skills from activating.

- Path of Radiance has leftover text strings for a second unused magic bow in addition to the Bright Bow. The actual text for it calls it the "Sonic Bow", but its file name labels it "SHININGBOW", the name eventually used for the Fates magic bow.
