Severance (Japanese: すべてが閉じた世界 A world where everything is closed) is a passive type-C skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes. The personal skill of Embla, Severance causes enemies standing in three rows or columns in cardinal directions of the user from being the target of a skill with the Savior effect or from receiving the effects of ally skills in combat, while also allowing the user to take reduced damage in combat based on the difference between the user's and target's speed stats and neutralizing their penalties if the same condition is met.
