Serra (セーラ, Seera) is a playable character in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. She is a spirited cleric, specializing in healing staves to aid injured party members.
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
Role
Serra is a valuable healer working under Ostia. Initially, she is being escorted by the young mage Erk.
Lyn's story
In Beyond the Borders, Chapter 5 in Lyn's story, Serra is first seen as an NPC character, along with her escort, Erk. Speaking to her with Lyn or simply clearing the chapter will recruit her. She then becomes a member of "Lyndis' Legion.". If she falls in Chapter 5, she will instead send Erk to join "Lyndis' Legion" and state that she is too hurt to continue, and must wait behind on the path to let her wounds heal. This is very unorthodox of her, considering her conceited personality would not normally lead her to helplessly wait behind on the path and run the risk of being attacked wounded and helpless by bandits or thieves.
Eliwood/Hector's story
Serra is automatically recruited in Chapter 13 of Eliwood's story, and Chapter 12 in Hector's. She is traveling with Hector and his small crew from Ostia when she reappears.

Other appearances
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U
Serra may be the inspiration for one of the recolors Robin has in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, giving Robin a colorset very similar to Serra's outfit and hair.

Serra |
A feminine name derived from "Sarah," a name used in English, French, German, Hebrew, Arabic, and Biblical Hebrew. "Sarah" means "lady" or "princess" in Hebrew. This was the name of the wife of Abraham in the Old Testament, who became the mother of Isaac at the age of 90. In England, Sarah came into use after the Protestant Reformation.[1] Incidentally, "serra" is also Latin for "saw," which matches her abrasive demeanor extremely well. |
