Seal Resistance (Japanese: 魔防封じ Resistance Seal), shortened to Seal Res in Heroes, is a combat skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. In Fates, it is a class skill associated with the Oni Savage class; in Heroes, it is a three-tiered type B passive skill (whose individiual tiers are known as Seal Res 1, Seal Res 2, and Seal Res 3 in order from lowest to highest). Seal Resistance is a skill that drops an enemy's Resistance by a considerable amount at the end of a battle, the size of the drop in Heroes increasing with the skill's tier; in Fates, the effect recovers slowly over a number of turns, whereas in Heroes the drop lasts only until the end of the target's next action.
