“ | He tries, but we Resistance are a slippery lot. We strike hard and then vanish again into the dark of night. Even now rebels ride to the banner of dynasts across the continent. United, we could pose a veritable threat to Walhart. And so, for some time I have struggled to bring us together. | ” | — Say'ri, discussing her leadership of the Resistance with Chrom |

Say'ri (Japanese: サイリ Sayri) is a character in Fire Emblem Awakening. Along with her brother, Yen'fay, she is the princess of Chon'sin, a small nation on the western continent of Valm. She is forced to flee from her country after it is taken over by Walhart.
Fire Emblem Awakening
Role
Say'ri is the sister of Chon'sin's former ruler, Yen'fay. He betrayed Chon'sin to side with Walhart in order to protect her, but he never told her this. Say'ri was eventually hunted down by Walhart's forces, forcing her to flee from Chon'sin, until she was cornered in Valm Harbor. She was eventually rescued by Chrom, leader of the Shepherds. Say'ri brought them to the Mila Tree in order to get Tiki's advice about the Fire Emblem, but they were ambushed by a Valmese army led by Cervantes. After defeating them, Tiki met with the group and tasked them to find the Emblem's missing gemstones.
Say'ri took the Shepherds to the Demon's Ingle, where they battled Yen'fay. If Say'ri battles Yen'fay, she will try to reason with him on why he betrayed Chon'sin, but he refuses to answer. Once he is defeated, Yen'fay will commend Say'ri for growing strong just before dying, much to Say'ri's grief.
Say'ri accompanied the Shepherds in the rebellion against Walhart, and the subsequent battles against Grima and the Grimleal.
In Paralogue 21, an alternate version of Say'ri died, leaving that Outrealm's Yen'fay despondent. He traveled to the main Outrealm for unknown reasons. Upon seeing the alternate Yen'fay, Say'ri is overjoyed to see her brother again, but Yen'fay reminds her that while they are not true siblings, they can still be together.
