Salvage Blow (Japanese: 匠の技 Artisan's Skill) is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. Associated with the Blacksmith class, it gives its user a chance to obtain a Hoshido D-rank (iron) weapon (katana, naginata, club, yumi, or shuriken) upon defeating the enemy if the user initiated the battle. The weapon gained depends on the enemy's class. For example, if the user defeated a Ninja, they will be awarded with an Iron Shuriken.
