First game

Fire Emblem Gaiden

Sagittae (Japanese: アロー Arrow) is a black magic spell that was introduced in Fire Emblem Gaiden and appears only in it and its remake, Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It summons a barrage of arrows of light that rapidly bombard the target.

Sagittae is among the most powerful black magic spells, second only to Ragnarok, and is the strongest spell that can be learned by male Mages and Sages. In Shadows of Valentia it also has greater range than most other spells, like Thunder, and it can strike targets as far as three spaces away from the user. However, it is also one of the heaviest spells and it is very difficult to double-attack with it.
