TearRing Saga: Yutona Heroes War Chronicles

The (Japanese: リングオブサリア Ring of Salia) is a plot-important item appearing in TearRing Saga: Yutona Heroes War Chronicles. It is a legendary ring passed down through Salia's, one of Yutona's daughters, bloodlines. It allows some of her descendants bearing the mark of Yutona to transform into the Guardian Dragon Neuron.[1]

If in the possession of the wrong hands, the Ring of Salia, like the other rings, allows control of the bearer of the mark of Yutona that is currently connected to the ring.[2]

History

The Ring of Salia originally belonged to one of Yutona's four daughters, whose name was Salia, both the namesake of the ring and the kingdom. Salia could use the ring to become the Guardian Dragon Neuron, and this ability has been sporadically passed down through her children. It was traditionally stored in the Fire Temple of Salia.

When Princess Maria was born, fears of Kranion were still in the hearts and minds of many people. Maria's uncle, Ahab, insisted the newly born Fire Shaman be put to death, to prevent her from rampaging like the Earth Shaman of Leda. Zacharia, the knight ordered to kill the infant princess, disobeyed his orders and instead sent the Princess and the Ring of Salia into hiding with Father Law. Princess Maria, now known by the name Katri, kept the ring as a family heirloom, unaware of its true power.

Later, Katri would discover the ring's power in a time of need. Eventually Katri reunites with her true parents, and gives the Ring of Salia to Holmes in hope that it would bring them back together. Shortly after this Katri is kidnapped by Guenchaos and Holmes uses the Ring of Salia to awaken the Holy Sword Salia at the Fire Shrine to save Katri.
