Attrom will die very quickly if left surrounded, so have him run away into the rest of your army. An interesting thing to note about this chapter is the fact that the positions, classes, equipment and quantity of a few enemies (including the Pirate closest to your army) are actually randomized between a couple options determined when the squad spawns on the map, so make sure to look over each enemy carefully. Additionally, try to kil Dolk fairly quickly, as his skeletons can cause trouble if left unchecked.
