Loffaru will move around the north of the map and attack enemies. While he can generally handle himself, it is best to recruit him so he doesn’t get attacked by too many enemies. Talking to him with Sasha gives her a boost to her luck, whereas talking to him with Runan gives the powerful Mainstar. The one who didn’t recruit him can still talk to him as a player unit afterwards.
The enemies are mostly weak monsters, but some of the Dark Mages can hit very hard on the low resistance of player units. The Gargoyles also have a worrisome critical hit rate.
The boss, Knud, has a Bau Crash tome which he will use to attack several units at once. Take note the in the older fan translation of the game, his battle quote will crash the game, so be sure to skip it as fast as possible.
If the player is following the criteria of the Leteena Event, be sure to visit Verge as soon as Holmes’ party is playable again.
