The Runesword (Japanese: ルーンソード Runesword) is a sword introduced in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. It is a magic sword which casts the Nosferatu spell, draining the enemy's HP to heal the wielder, and it targets the enemy's resistance stat and, in Path of Radiance, is fueled by the wielder's magic. Like Nosferatu, the magic type which the Runesword counts as varies between appearances—it acts as dark magic in the Game Boy Advance trilogy, and as light magic in Path of Radiance.

Fire Emblem Cipher
The Runesword is present as a skill on one card in Fire Emblem Cipher: S05-004ST Healing War Maiden, Mist. It is a manual-activation skill which, for a cost of flipping 2 bond cards, modifies its user's weapon type from sword to tome, increases their range to 1-2, and gives them +10 attack power until the end of the turn.
