The Royal is an enemy-exclusive class which debuted in the Fire Emblem Engage expansion Fell Xenologue. Two variants of the class exist, serving as the personal classes of the enemy Alfred and Céline featured in the expansion. Each variant is identical to their playable counterparts' personal advanced classes of Avenir and Vidame; Alfred's variant is a mounted sword- and lance-wielding class, while Céline's is an infantry sword-, tome-, and staff-using class. The Royal's only functional difference from its playable counterparts is its status as a Corrupted class, which makes it take bonus damage from any attack that is effective against them.
