Roshea (ロシェ, Roshe) is a member of the Aurelis knights. During most of the War of Shadows, he was one of the knights serving under Prince Hardin, working to combat the Macedon occupation force and to protect Princess Nyna. Afterward, he was one of the founding members of the Wolfguard. At the height of the War of Heroes, when the Wolfguard was summoned to Archanea by Hardin to provide reinforcements against the impending Altean army, Roshea was the first (and only in the original game) member of the Wolfguard to question Hardin's motivations and sanity in opposing Marth.
Role
Roshea was a member of Hardin's four-strong squad of knights in the resistance against Macedon, forced into a mountain fortress after the castle had been claimed by Macedonian forces. Upon the arrival of Marth in Aurelis, Roshea, Hardin and the other Aurelis knights rode to accompany them in the battle to reclaim the Aurelis castle, and from there fought in the united Altea/Aurelis/Archanea army for the rest of the War of Shadows.

- In Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, promotion gains consist on giving the character as many points as necessary -the "x" value shown in the table- to reach the promoted class' base stats. If the character's stats are higher than their promoted class' base stats, they will not receive any bonus.

Book 2
Role
At Emperor Hardin's request, the Wolfguard were deployed to Pales as reinforcements for Marth's impending march on the Archanean capital. En route, the group encountered Marth's army passing through Adria Peak, and launched an ambush upon them. Roshea expressed his doubts about Hardin's claims of the Altean army's motivation, and so when the King of Aurelis arrived to order the Wolfguard back to Aurelis, Roshea travelled to Knorda Market to await Marth, and there joined his army.

Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience.
|
Roshea is one of three interchangeable and very weak Cavaliers, alongside Vyland and Matthis. His base stats aren't terrible, but he is likely outclassed by the early-joining cavaliers by this point. He is stuck with E weapon ranks if he tries to reclass, and his terrible Speed growth makes him unviable for long-term investment. Roshea is a completely forgettable unit with little potential.
Role
As in Mystery of the Emblem, at Emperor Hardin's request, the Wolfguard were deployed to Pales as reinforcements for Marth's impending march on the Archanean capital. During the battle, Wolf, Sedgar and Vyland returned as reinforcements, and Roshea convinced Vyland to stand down and ally with Marth.
