Corrin: ...
Rhajat: *stare*
Corrin: Hello, Rhajat. Did you need something?
Rhajat: Nope. *stare*
Corrin: I see. Well, would you mind not staring at me so intently?
Rhajat: Why? I'm not making any noise or physically disturbing you.
Corrin: I suppose that's true. But it just makes me feel a little uncomfortable. It seems every time I turn around, you're there, peeking at me.
Rhajat: Don't worry about it. I'm just watching over you.
Corrin: But why?
Rhajat: Because you're my soul mate, of course.
Corrin: What makes you say that? We barely know each other!
Rhajat: Because you saved my life. Watching over you for the rest of yours is the least I can do.
Corrin: I actually think that's the MOST you can do, Rhajat. And it's not necessary. Yes, I saved your life, but you would have done the same for me. As would anyone.
Rhajat: Uh...sure. Anyway, even if you hadn't saved my life, our fates were already intertwined.
Corrin: How so?
Rhajat: You really don't remember? Muhahaha...this is going to be fun. I'll be observing you even more carefully from now on...
Corrin: Well, this went poorly...

Rhajat: Heh heh...
Corrin: Ahem.
Rhajat: Hahahahahaha...
Corrin: AHEM!
Rhajat: Hee...
Corrin: You know, Rhajat...you're not as stealthy as you think you are. I can hear you laughing!
Rhajat: I'm not laughing. I'm GIGGLING. Because following you around makes me giddy! And because I have a secret.
Corrin: Why don't you just tell me what it is? You know you want to.
Rhajat: No, this is much more fun. Muhaha!
Corrin: Fine. I'm not going to do anything for the rest of the day. You can just stand there and watch me do nothing if you want.
Rhajat: Ugh. Fine. If you're gonna be that way, I guess I'll spill the magic beans.
Corrin: Great. Let's hear it.
Rhajat: Well...you've been wondering why I'm so obsessed with you...
Corrin: Because I saved your life. Right?
Rhajat: No. Because you saved my life TWICE.
Corrin: What?! How is that possible? We never met before Hayato led us to your village.
Rhajat: Oh yes, we did... Do you remember when you came to visit my Deeprealm? There was a wild little girl there who ran around tirelessly, curious about everything.
Corrin: That was you?!
Rhajat: It was! I know it doesn't sound like me at all...but my whole life changed that day. In all my youthful enthusiasm, I nearly ran myself straight off a cliff. But you were there to catch me. It took me until the other day to make the connection that it was you. Heh, heh...
Corrin: Gods...I do remember that! But that little girl—I mean, you... You were so different. So...outgoing.
Rhajat: Yeah, well...that incident changed everything.
Corrin: I'm so sorry.
Rhajat: Don't be! It was the happiest day of my life. It made me realize that life is precious and I should be a little more selfish. Hayato hated it, but I started dabbling in the dark arts...teaching myself magic. Honestly, I owe you everything.
Corrin: Well, you're welcome. I guess...
Rhajat: Is that all you have to say?
Corrin: I'm sorry. I'm just in shock. I might need a little time to process this.
Rhajat: OK. See ya.
(Rhajat leaves)
Corrin: Wait! Rhajat!
Rhajat: Yes?
Corrin: I...uh. About that time...
Rhajat: Spit it out, Corrin!
Corrin: Sorry. It's nothing. Let's talk later.
Rhajat: Hmm...

Rhajat: Corrin...I need to know something. What were you about to say the other day?
Corrin: Oh, right. It was nothing. I was just going to apologize.
Rhajat: For...what?
Corrin: For the way I treated you when you first started stalking—I mean WATCHING—me. I see now how much impact I've had in your life... It's totally understandable that you'd have strong feelings toward me.
Rhajat: Understandable, huh... You're talking to me like I'm still a little girl.
Corrin: Gah! You're right. I'm sorry again. Let's start over, shall we? I'm Corrin—nice to meet you! Let's pretend I haven't saved your life twice.
Rhajat: Ooh, role-playing... I like it. I'm Rhajat. I like cursing people, stalking people, and long walks through the graveyard. Heehee!
Corrin: Haha! Wait. You weren't joking, were you?
Rhajat: You're so cute when you pretend to be terrified of me. Heh, heh...
Corrin: Yes. I was pretending.

Corrin: ... I know you're following me, Rhajat. I can hear you giggling again.
Rhajat: Heh. Aww, it's no fun if I can't surprise you every so often. Lately you've been noticing me right away.
Corrin: Well, one should get to know his own stalker—that's what I always say. So, did you need something?
Rhajat: Actually...yes.
Corrin: Well? Is it bad? You look upset.
Rhajat: I...I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to stop following you around.
Corrin: Really? Why?
Rhajat: Because that's what you want, isn't it? I've been a nuisance this whole time. That's no way to treat your hero.
Corrin: Your...hero? Gods... Rhajat, I'm so sorry to have given you the wrong impression. To be honest...I've enjoyed having you around...pretty much all of the time.
Rhajat: Do you mean that?
Corrin: I do. I don't know what I'd do anymore if I looked up and you weren't there. I...I've even followed YOU around once or twice.
Rhajat: What?! And I didn't notice? Grr!
Corrin: Hah! Maybe I've learned a thing or two from you.
Rhajat: I assure you that you still have more to learn. But I'm glad to see that you're becoming as obsessed with me as I am with you.
Corrin: Perhaps we should stop sneaking around each other like this... I'd like to spend the rest of my life with you in plain sight.
Rhajat: Eh, that doesn't sound so great. I'd like to be stalking you at least 20 percent of the time.
Corrin: Fair enough. Will you marry me, Rhajat?
Rhajat: I will. I love you, Corrin!

(Confession Scene)
Rhajat: I've got you right where I want you. And I'm never going to let go...

Corrin: Rhajat, we need to talk.
Rhajat: Hello, Mother. Why are you making that scary face? Did I do something?
Corrin: I have to ask you something important. Please, be honest with me.
Rhajat: O-OK... What is it?
Corrin: I heard that you cast a spell on a bunch of villagers the other day. Is that true?
Rhajat: They wanted me to perform a good-luck ritual for their upcoming harvest. I didn't really want to, but they were so insistent that I gave in eventually.
Corrin: Well those same people have been complaining about you.
Rhajat: Why would they complain about me? I just complied with their request...
Corrin: Apparently some strange illness has been sweeping through the village. They've never seen anything like it before.
Rhajat: I don't know why that would be. But sometimes even benign magic can have unintended side effects...
Corrin: These villagers are saying that your spell is responsible for their affliction. I don't believe for a moment that you'd ever want to hurt anybody. But you have to tell me more about this enchantment of yours. If it did actually cause their illness, we have to find a way to counter the effect. I don't want anyone to fear you because of some baseless rumor.
Rhajat: Those villagers will be wary of me regardless of what I do. Maybe it doesn't really matter...
Corrin: What's that supposed to mean?
Rhajat: It's just complicated, Mother. You shouldn't involve yourself in this. No good will come of it.

Corrin: *sigh* This is exhausting. But I can't rest now. Time to head out!
Rhajat: Greetings, Mother...
Corrin: R-Rhajat! You scared me!
Rhajat: That bag is awfully large. What have you been getting up to?
Corrin: Oh, umm... I was just about to go shopping at the market. That's all.
Rhajat: I know things have been hectic lately, but you seem awfully tired. Why don't you rest? I can go to the market for you.
Corrin: Oh, you don't need to do that. I'm just fine, really.
Rhajat: Is this supposed shopping trip just a ruse? You're only now leaving the house, and yet that bag is filled to the brim. You were planning to assist those sick villagers, weren't you?
Corrin: Wh-what? How did you know?
Rhajat: I have a keen awareness of events unfolding around me. Do you feel obliged to come to their aid because they blame me?
Corrin: No, of course not. That's not it at all!
Rhajat: Then what is driving you to help them?
Corrin: I feel compelled to help those suffering around me. I'm your mother, Rhajat. I know in my heart that you'd never want to hurt anyone. My desire to aid the villagers has nothing to do with you. I promise.
Rhajat: You didn't have to sneak around behind my back though...
Corrin: You're right. I'm sorry. Listen, I have to be going. The villagers are waiting on me to deliver these supplies.
Rhajat: Wait... I know that I'm not responsible for this illness. I'll be able to explain everything soon. But I need a little more time.
Corrin: Just let me know whenever you're ready to talk. I'll be waiting.
Rhajat: Thank you for understanding, Mother.

Rhajat: Here, Mother. I wanted to show you what I've been working on.
Corrin: Wait a second. What is that herb, Rhajat? I've never seen it before. Is it medicinal? I don't suppose we could use it to treat the villagers' illness.
Rhajat: We can. It took longer than I would have liked to mature. I even had to use a bit of light magic to encourage the herb's growth. If I could have brought it to you sooner, I would have. I just needed to make sure it worked first. I'm sorry...
Corrin: Wait a minute. How did you find this cure?
Rhajat: It took some time. When the villagers asked me to cast a spell for them, I noticed something strange... There were several people who were coughing profusely. A few of them also looked quite pale...
Corrin: So the villagers were already sick when you cast that spell!
Rhajat: Exactly. I had heard that there was a rare herb that naturally fights illness. I managed to track down some seeds and got to sprouting them right away.
Corrin: Why didn't you speak up earlier? No one would have been suspicious if you had just said something.
Rhajat: My sole concern wasn't their perception of me. It was their health. The most important thing was to find a cure before the sickness got out of control. All I really cared about was you trusting me.
Corrin: Well you should have cared! You can be so headstrong!
Rhajat: Um, why are you hugging me? We need to get this herb to the villagers right away.
Corrin: Oh, be quiet! I'm so proud of you.
Rhajat: Ow, Mother! Let me go already. It hurts when you squeeze me so tightly. Listen, you should help me turn this herb into a tea. That way we can distribute it quickly.
Corrin: Of course, you're right. Let's hurry up and cure them, Rhajat!
Rhajat: All right, Mother...

Rhajat: You didn't have to sneak around behind my back though...

Rhajat: Here, Mother. I wanted to show you what I've been working on.
Azura: What is this plant, Rhajat? I've never seen it before. Do you think it will help with the villagers' sickness?
Rhajat: Yes, it will. It took longer than I would have liked to mature. I even had to use a bit of light magic to encourage the herb's growth. If I could have brought it to you sooner, I would have. I just needed to make sure it worked first. I'm sorry...
Azura: How did you discover this plant?
Rhajat: It took some time. When the villagers asked me to cast a spell for them, I noticed something strange... There were several people who were coughing profusely. A few of them also looked quite pale...
Azura: So they were already sick before you even cast that spell...
Rhajat: Yes, exactly. I had heard that there was a rare herb that naturally fights illness. I managed to track down some seeds and got to sprouting them right away.
Azura: You could have told them that you were working on a cure. Didn't you imagine that they would be suspicious of you?
Rhajat: My sole concern wasn't their perception of me. It was their health. The most important thing was to find a cure before the sickness got out of control. All I really cared about was you trusting me.
Azura: You're so very headstrong...
Rhajat: Um, why are you hugging me? We need to get this herb to the villagers right away.
Azura: Oh shush! Let me enjoy this moment! You did the right thing, even if your ways were a bit strange.
Rhajat: Ow, Mother! Let me go already. It hurts when you squeeze me so tightly. Listen, you should help me turn this herb into a tea. That way, we can distribute it quickly.
Azura: Oh yes, of course. I'm sorry. Let's go, Rhajat!

Hinoka: Rhajat, we need to talk.
Rhajat: Hello, Mother. Why are you making that scary face? Did I do something?
Hinoka: I have to ask you something important. Please, answer me honestly.
Rhajat: O-OK... What is it?
Hinoka: Did you cast a spell on a group of villagers recently?
Rhajat: They wanted me to perform a good-luck ritual for their upcoming harvest. I didn't really want to, but they were so insistent that I gave in eventually.
Hinoka: A mysterious illness has been spreading throughout the village. It's something they've never seen before.
Rhajat: I don't know why that would be. But sometimes even benign magic can have unintended side effects...
Hinoka: I know that you would never set out to harm anyone. But you have to tell me more about this enchantment. If it had something to do with their illness, we need to find a way to counter the effect. I don't want the villagers to be scared of you based off some rumor.
Rhajat: Those villagers will be wary of me regardless of what I do. Maybe it doesn't really matter...
Hinoka: What is that supposed to mean?

Rhajat: Here, Mother. I wanted to show you what I've been working on.
Hinoka: Is that some kind of medicinal herb? I don't recognize it. Can it be used to cure the villagers?
Rhajat: Yes. It took longer than I would have liked to mature. I even had to use a bit of light magic to encourage the herb's growth. If I could have brought it to you sooner, I would have. I just needed to make sure it worked first. I'm sorry...
Hinoka: How did you discover this cure?
Rhajat: It took some time. When the villagers asked me to cast a spell for them, I noticed something strange... There were several people who were coughing profusely. A few of them also looked quite pale...
Hinoka: So they were already sick before you even cast that spell.
Rhajat: Yes, exactly. I had heard that there was a rare herb that naturally fights illness. I managed to track down some seeds and got to sprouting them right away.
Hinoka: Why didn't you explain yourself? No one would have spread those rumors if you'd just said something.

Hayato: Rhajat! We need to speak.
Rhajat: Father? Why are you shouting?
Hayato: The villagers have been gossiping. They say you're acting standoffish and you never talk to anybody. What's going on?
Rhajat: Nothing. I'm behaving as I always do. I'm not causing any problems or hurting anybody. What's the issue?
Hayato: It's simple. You have an attitude problem.
Rhajat: Maybe you're right. Are we done here?
Hayato: No, we certainly are not! Why can't you cooperate with others?
Rhajat: Because I'm not interested in people. Except for one special person...
Hayato: *sigh* I'm not saying that you have to bend over backward to make friends. At the very least you must cooperate. There are social rules that must be followed. Rules that are just as important as fighting alongside your allies.
Rhajat: ... I understand what you're saying, Father. But this is really aggravating.
Hayato: Watch your tone, Rhajat! You're profoundly mistaken if you think you can go on living like a child. Pursuing only that which piques your interest is foolish. Open your mind to new endeavors— new possibilities. It's time to give up your juvenile ways and behave like a grown-up! Rhajat! Are you even listening?!
Rhajat: Heh... Child.
Hayato: What?
Rhajat: How can you sit there lecturing me about being a child? You're younger than I am! Just leave me alone!

Hayato: Rhajat, there you are.
Rhajat: Oh. Hello, Father.
Hayato: I need to ask about what you said the other day.
Rhajat: What do you mean?
Hayato: Well... If I recall correctly, you claimed that I was younger than you. Is that really...true? Have you...surpassed my age?
Rhajat: Yes. Yes, I have. What of it?
Hayato: Interesting... I knew that time moved more quickly in the Deeprealms... I just never thought that enough would go by for you to surpass me in age.
Rhajat: It was only after I left my Deeprealm to voyage here... that I discovered how time flowed at an accelerated rate. A rate far faster than the other Deeprealms... If I had remained there, I'd be a white-haired old lady by now. That's how I know I'm older than you. I may actually be older than Mother, too. You may be my father... But I won't be lectured to by someone even younger than I am.
Hayato: H-how dare you! I may be younger than you, but I am still your father!
Rhajat: That's enough... Just leave me alone.
(Rhajat leaves)
Hayato: Why you—! Get back here, Rhajat! *sigh* ...Rhajat.

Hayato: Rhajat! We must talk immediately.
Rhajat: What is it, Father?
Hayato: I came to apologize.
Rhajat: Apologize? For what exactly?
Hayato: I've done a great deal of research about the Deeprealms since last we spoke... I think you were right. Time flows considerably quicker there than most other places. That means no matter how short my visit, an enormous amount of time passed. Even the smallest interval must have been years... You must have been so very lonely, Rhajat. I'm sorry. Truly sorry.
Rhajat: Honestly, it doesn't bother me all that much. Solitude has always agreed with me. It's much easier to focus on my dark-magic research while I'm alone.
Hayato: Why are you staring at your feet? Won't you look me in the eye?
Rhajat: *sniffle*
Hayato: I understand why you want to put on a brave face. But you are my daughter. I know you.
Rhajat: For a child, you're awfully full of yourself.
Hayato: You're right. I am a child. My focus was always on war. I didn't even see my daughter suffering... I'm just a selfish child.
Rhajat: Huh... I just realized. I'm almost like your big sister now.
Hayato: Now that you're older than me, I suppose that's true. You've become a wonderful person with a very strong heart. I'm so proud to have a woman like you... as a daughter.
Rhajat: Oh, Father...
Hayato: Regardless of age, you're still my daughter. Even if you become an old woman, that won't change. Right?
Rhajat: Yes... Yes, of course that's right.
Hayato: Again just let me say...I'm sorry. And I love you. I always have, and I always will.
Rhajat: Thank you, Father. Even when I lived in the Deeprealms, I knew that you loved me. And I didn't feel lonely.

Rhajat: Those villagers will be wary of me regardless of what I do. Maybe it doesn't really matter...
Effie: Wh-what do you mean? You don't care if they're afraid of you?
Rhajat: It's just complicated, Mother. You shouldn't involve yourself in this. No good will come of it.
(Rhajat leaves)
Effie: Rhajat! Come back here and explain yourself!

Effie: I'd better get going. The people in town need my help.
Rhajat: Greetings, Mother...
Effie: Rhajat! Don't sneak up on me like that.
Rhajat: That bag is awfully large. What have you been getting up to?
Effie: Oh, I was just heading out to do some shopping. That's all.
Rhajat: Even you must get exhausted sometimes. Why don't you rest? I'd be more than happy to go to the market for you.
Effie: Oh, that's not necessary. I can do it myself.
Rhajat: Is this supposed shopping trip just a ruse? You're only now leaving the house, and yet that bag is filled to the brim. You were planning to assist those sick villagers, weren't you?
Effie: H-how did you—
Rhajat: I have a keen awareness of events unfolding around me. Do you feel obliged to come to their aid because they blame me?
Effie: No, that's not it at all...
Rhajat: Then what is driving you to help them?
Effie: I can't stand by and watch people suffer. I'm your mother, Rhajat. I know that you would never wish to harm anyone. My actions have nothing to do with you.
Rhajat: You didn't have to sneak around behind my back though...
Effie: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to deceive you. I really must be going. These supplies must be delivered quickly.
Rhajat: Wait... I know that I'm not responsible for this illness. I'll be able to explain everything soon. But I need a little more time...
Effie: Very well. I trust you. Just find me when you're ready to talk.
Rhajat: Thank you for understanding, Mother.

A Support

Rhajat: Here, Mother. I wanted to show you what I've been working on.
Effie: What is this herb, Rhajat? I've never seen it before. Wait a minute. Are you planning to cure the villagers' illness with this?
Rhajat: Precisely. It took longer than I would have liked to mature. I even had to use a bit of light magic to encourage the herb's growth. If I could have brought it to you sooner, I would have. I just needed to make sure it worked first. I'm sorry...
Effie: How did you discover this cure?
Rhajat: It took some time. When the villagers asked me to cast a spell for them, I noticed something strange... There were several people who were coughing profusely. A few of them also looked quite pale...
Effie: So the villagers were already sick before you even cast that spell!
Rhajat: Yes, exactly. I had heard that there was a rare herb that naturally fights illness. I managed to track down some seeds and got to sprouting them right away.
Effie: Why didn't you try to explain yourself to the villagers? They probably wouldn't have been so suspicious if you had spoken up.
Rhajat: My sole concern wasn't their perception of me. It was their health. The most important thing was to find a cure before the sickness got out of control. All I really cared about was you trusting me.
Effie: You can be so stubborn!
Rhajat: Um, why are you hugging me? We need to get this herb to the villagers right away.
Effie: Oh shush! Just let me enjoy this moment. You foolish girl!
Rhajat: Ow, Mother! Let me go already. It hurts when you squeeze me so tightly! Listen, you should help me turn this herb into a tea. That way we can distribute it quickly.
Effie: Yes! Let's cure the villagers and clear up this misunderstanding! Follow me. There's no time to waste!
Rhajat: You're right, Mother.

Nyx: Did you cast a spell on a group of villagers recently?
Rhajat: They wanted me to perform a good-luck ritual for their upcoming harvest. I didn't really want to, but they were so insistent that I gave in eventually.
Nyx: Well those villagers have been complaining about you...
Rhajat: Why would they complain about me? I just complied with their request.
Nyx: A mysterious illness has been sweeping through the village. They've never seen anything quite like it before.
Rhajat: I don't know why that would be. But sometimes even benign magic can have unintended side effects.

Rhajat: Yes, Kana? What is it?
Kana: Look! I picked some pretty flowers for you! They're yellow like the sun!
Rhajat: Heehee. Thank you. These daisies are beautiful.
Kana: So you like them?
Rhajat: Oh, yes. Very much so. But what's gotten into you lately? You've been bringing me an awful lot of flowers.
Kana: I just remembered that when I was real little, we'd go looking at flowers together. And when we did, you smiled a lot. And I think Mama's smiles are the best! So I decided to start bringing you lots and lots of flowers so you'd smile more!
Rhajat: Aw, that's sweet. But I do have a favor to ask of you.
Kana: Anything, Mama. What do you need?
Rhajat: Remember how Mama sometimes needs special ingredients for her incantations? Well, sometimes those ingredients are pretty flowers of some sort. And if you keep picking so many, Mama may not be able to find enough later on.
Kana: Oh no! I'm so sorry, Mama... I didn't know...
Rhajat: Don't worry, Kana. I'm sure there are still plenty of flowers out there for us. You just need to promise not to pick any more, OK?
Kana: OK! B-but...if I do that, then how can I show you all the neat flowers I find?
Rhajat: Hmmm... Next time you find some, just come get me. Then we can go look at them together. How does that sound?
Kana: Really? You won't be too busy?
Rhajat: For you? Never.
Kana: OK! Then it's a deal, Mama!

Kana: Why wouldn't I be happy? I found some great flowers for us to go look at! You're going to love them, I'm sure of it! Look! There they are, Mama!
Rhajat: Ooh. Flowers that shade of black are extremely rare, and prized for their beauty. They represent death, destruction, despair, and many other terrible d-words. They say that none who gaze upon this flower will ever know joy again.
Kana: I love them! They reminded me of you, Mama!
Rhajat: ...
Kana: ...
Rhajat: That's the kindest thing anyone has ever said to me, Kana! Thank you!
Kana: Don't be embarrassed, Mama! I love flowers, but I love your smiles even more!
Rhajat: Heh. So much flattery today. Well, little miss, I love your smiles, too!
Kana: Really? Yay!
Rhajat: Oh, that reminds me: I have something to show you.
Kana: Oooh, is it something good? Can I see it right now? What is it?
Rhajat: Now, now. Calm down. I don't have it right now, but it's—
Kana: Ah! Wait! Don't tell me! That way I'll be even more surprised when you have it.
Rhajat: Very well, then. I'll keep it a secret until next time.

Kana: Mama, I'm here! Where's that thing you wanted to show me?
Rhajat: I've got it right here. Come look.
Kana: Oh wow! This is such a big book! And look at all these flowers! Where did you get them?
Rhajat: These are all of the flowers you've been bringing me. I dried them out and pressed them between the pages to preserve them. I figured it would be the perfect place for me to keep your little gifts safe.
Kana: This is amazing! Really, really amazing! I hadn't realized how many flowers I'd brought you, either. Look, there are the daisies I gave you the other day!
Rhajat: Mhm! I was going to put them all in my stores so I could use them as the need arose... But whenever I looked at one, I remembered the time you gave it to me. So I decided the best thing to do would be to put them in this book instead.
Kana: Mama, thank you for taking such good care of the flowers I got you. This makes me so happy!
Rhajat: And thank you, Kana, for all the love you've given me. And for the flowers, of course. I'll cherish them for a long time to come.
Kana: You're welcome!
Rhajat: You know, we didn't pick those flowers we saw the other day... But we did manage to make some nice memories, didn't we? I hope we have many, many more like them.
