Plot

Main article: Return of the Prince/Script

Gotoh teleports Marth's troops to Altea, where they face an enemy general – Eibel – who sends Gra forces in their direction to lure them in. These forces include Abel, who is forced to fight for Archanea because Est has been taken hostage. If Marth talks to Abel, Abel no longer has the resolve to fight him and joins him instead; alternately, Est can talk to Abel, and knowing that she is free, Abel switches sides.

Eventually, Eibel is defeated, and Marth briefly questions his ability as a leader, because he allowed this conquest and cruelty to happen. However, Jagen reassures him, then orders him to storm Altea Castle's interior, as that area has not been seized yet.
