The Reaver (斧雄士, meaning "heroic axeman"), also referred to as the Axe Brave (アクスブレイブ, Akusu Bureibu) class in Japan, is a third-tier class that uses axes and crossbows. Reavers are the last in a promotion line beginning with the Fighter class, which then leads to the Warrior class and finally the Reaver class.

Reavers are very powerful fighters. They have especially high strength, but they suffer in resistance, like many other units. Still, they are otherwise very sturdy, able to survive well at the front of the army.

Reavers are able to use both axes and crossbows, making them able to utilize a different kind of weapon for special situations, such as against pegasus knights or for ranged attack. They have the Colossus skill, which triples strength at a certain chance. Additionally, they receive a +5 critical bonus. They are primarily attackers, with high stats all around.
