Percy: Hyah! Hrrragh! Ree-yaah!
Corrin: Hey, Percy. Getting some solo training in?
Percy: Sure am, Corrin! How else am I gonna be a great knight like Pop someday?
Corrin: That's our Percy. Keep it up, kid!
Percy: Hey! C'mon! Do ya have to say it like that?
Corrin: Like what?
Percy: Like I'm some kinda little kid! I'm a man now, you know!
Corrin: Haha. Yeah, I guess that's true, huh? OK, Percy. I'm sorry. I meant no offense. But you were saying you wanted to be a great knight like your father, right? You must really like him a lot.
Percy: I could like him without wanting to be like him, y'know. What it really is is respect! He's got it so hard, and yet he never gives up no matter what!
Corrin: What do you mean?
Percy: Well, like yesterday I saw him go through all kinds of things! He was hit by lightning, pooped on by wyverns, and trampled by a horse! And that's not even unusual. It's just sort of below-average. Pop goes through so much every day, and yet I've never seen him lose heart. For him, just getting out of bed must take more courage than most ever have!
Corrin: I...see. His life does sound trying. Perhaps there is something I could do to help him...

B Support

Percy: Rrrrrraaah! En garde! Nyah!
Corrin: You're working hard as ever, I see.
Percy: Corrin! I didn't see you there!
Corrin: Is there any way I can help?
Percy: You wanna help me? Really?! That'd be great!
Corrin: OK, then. What would you like me to do?
Percy: Hmmm. I want to practice dodging enemy missiles, so let's see... Ooh! Could you throw that pile of rocks at me? As fast as you can? If you could throw a bunch at the same time, that'd be best!
Corrin: What? At the same time?! Are you sure?
Percy: Yeah, yeah, I'll be fine! Now let 'em fly!
Corrin: OK, if you insist... HRAH!
Percy: Heh. There...there...and there!
Corrin: What? Not a single one hit you. How is that possible?
Percy: Heehee! Right? I dodged them all!
Corrin: I don't know if you dodged them or if they dodged you.
Percy: Huh?
Corrin: It looked like they only missed you because of how they bounced off each other. You have some unbelievable luck.
Percy: What?! Come on! I dodged them because I train really hard! Not because of luck! You don't have to be so rude, you know.
Corrin: I'm sorry. I should have chosen my words more carefully. I didn't mean to take away from your accomplishment. I promise.
Percy: Heh. OK, fine. I forgive you.
Corrin: So Arthur has incredibly bad luck, but his son has incredibly good luck. Their family reunions must be interesting...
Percy: All right! Grab up those rocks and let's go again!
Corrin: Again? OK, but I don't think anything'll change...

A Support

Percy: Hrrrrgrepah! Gndlifmrrrjkr!
Corrin: Percy!
Percy: Corrin! Come by to help me train again?
Corrin: Bingo! What did you have in mind this time?
Percy: I want to practice avoiding enemy attacks again!
Corrin: So you want me to throw rocks at you again?
Percy: Heehee! Not quite! I've got a secret weapon today.
Corrin: A secret weapon?
Percy: Ta-DA!
Corrin: Wait. This is a hornets' nest!
Percy: Yup! And I want you to hit it with that stick over there. Then they should all fly out and head for me.
Corrin: You're joking, right?
Percy: Nope! I'm going to dodge every single one of them.
Corrin: Are you insane?! No way!
Percy: But I won't learn anything if I don't push my limits.
Corrin: But you still HAVE limits! Some things are impossible!
Percy: Oh. It's impossible? And here I thought it was a great idea... Oh well. I'll just get rid of the nest then. *fwip* *thud*
Corrin: Wh-why did you throw it away?! Oh gods! They're coming for you—! Wait...wait...no. They're not coming for you. They're com— Oh no! NO! NOOO!
Percy: Whoops! Sorry, Corrin!
Corrin: AGGHGHGHHH!

Percy: Hyah! Wha-bammy! Take that!
Corrin: Hello, Percy. Boning up on your axe skills?
Percy: Yep!
Corrin: Your devotion to your training is very admirable. Do you ever take a day off?
Percy: Nope! I want to be a great knight like my dad as soon as possible. If I'm gonna do that, I hafta practice every day, right? Oh! I just had an idea. Maybe you could help me train! Whaddaya say?
Corrin: Of course! I'd be delighted to help you.
Percy: Woohoo! OK, then grab a sword and let's duke it out! The first to score four points wins!
Corrin: All right. I won't go easy on you though.
Percy: I wouldn't ask for anything less!
Corrin: En garde! Hey...wait a minute. Those clouds sure are coming in quick. Why is the sky green...? Oh no. Percy! Quick! We have to take cover!
Percy: *plonk* Take that!
Corrin: Huh?
Percy: *kabonk* Aaaand that! And this! *plink-plonk* Wow. I won...against Corrin... I'M A CHAMPIONNNNNNN!
Corrin: OK, yeah, sure, but forget about that! We need to seek shelter before— Before... Huh. The tornado disappeared. What just happened?
Percy: OK, round two! ReadysetGO! *kabonk*
Corrin: Percy! Cut it out!

B Support

Percy: Hi, Corrin.
Corrin: Percy? What's wrong? You're looking a bit glum. Don't you normally practice your blade work this time of day?
Percy: Yeah. But I'm not even gonna bother practicing anymore. Even if I don't practice, I always win anyways.
Corrin: What do you mean?
Percy: I mean I always win because I'm just really, really lucky. You saw it yourself, remember? Like when we fought the other day.
Corrin: Wait, you mean the tornado that distracted me and went away?
Percy: Yeah! And it gave me the perfect chance I needed to win. That's exactly the sort of thing I mean. Stuff like that always happens when I spar. The second I'm about to lose, the blade of their sword snaps. Or a mole pops out of the ground and they trip! Or a sinkhole swallows them up. That's how I always win. By luck. Not skill.
Corrin: So that's it? You're just gonna stop practicing?
Percy: Can you blame me?! No matter how much I try, it's pointless. No one will ever acknowledge my skills. They'll just blame it all on luck. And the worst part is that they'll be right.
Corrin: Tell me again what you want to be someday.
Percy: Huh? I want to be a great knight like my dad.
Corrin: What is it about your dad that makes you think he's a great knight?
Percy: He's super determined, and he'll fight with all he's got to overcome any obstacle!
Corrin: And do you think you could be like that if you didn't train and work hard?
Percy: ...No, I guess not. That stuff comes from the inside.
Corrin: Exactly.
Percy: Thanks, Corrin. I guess I'll keep training after all. I'll practice lots and lots and work hard each day. And someday, I'll show everyone that I can be a great knight too! I promise!
Corrin: I believe in you, Percy. I think you'll be a legend someday.

A Support

Percy: Hah! Ahhhh! GAAAAAAH!
Corrin: Percy! I see you're back to practicing again.
Percy: Mhm! Can't become a gallant knight relying on luck alone!
Corrin: Got that right! Would you like to train with me again today?
Percy: Sure! That'd be great!
Corrin: All right! I won't lose this time!
Percy: Time to show off the results of my training! HYAH! Take that!
Corrin: Ack! You're stronger than I'd thought! But I'm just getting started! Take this! Hm? What's...that? BIRDS! Biiiirds! They're coming right at us! There must be hundreds of them!
Percy: Hey! Eyes on me!
Corrin: I-I know, but— GAH! And now cats?! Where did they even come from?! They're...they're tickling my feet. I can't move!
Percy: Take that! *kabonk*
Corrin: Towels! I'm drowning in towels! NO! Not locusts! AGGHH! Why beeeeeees! Wha—my cape! It's wrapped around me! I'm gonna trip— GAHHHHH!
Percy: You're wide open! *thwack*
Corrin: Aww. I lost again...
Percy: I won! I won! Woohoo! Though...I probably had some help from my good luck again.
Corrin: W-well, they DO say luck is just another skill, right? But I have to say, that first blow you landed was masterful. I believe you've improved.
Percy: You mean it?! For real?
Corrin: I mean it. You've definitely improved.
Percy: Wow! Thanks, Corrin! I hope you'll keep training with me!
Corrin: Of course. I'd be delighted!

Percy: Corrin!
Corrin: Hello, Percy. What's wrong? You look out of breath.
Percy: Um...well... I was hoping you'd take this!
Corrin: Is that a toy ring?
Percy: Yep, it's the best I can do right now, but maybe someday I can get you a better one. I just really wanted to get something for you. W-WAH!
(Percy falls)
Corrin: Percy! Are you OK?!
Percy: Whoops! I fell! Sorry! Hey, wait. Where's my ring?
Corrin: I think that bird just grabbed it and flew over there.
Percy: What?! No! Give it back! Give it back! Oh! Hooray! It dropped it! Er. Wait. This isn't the ring I had. Oh wow! It's a real ring! Score!
Corrin: You really are the luckiest guy in the world.
Percy: OK, now hold out your hand! Ta-da! It's yours now!
Corrin: Thank you very much for the gift, but what's the occasion?
Percy: Oh! Right! Um, I just wanted to tell you I like you a lot, Corrin!
Corrin: What?!
Percy: I always suspected I was the luckiest person in the world, but now I know it! After all, I got to meet you! So, how do you feel about me? Will you go out with me?
Corrin: I don't think you're the luckiest person in the world.
Percy: Huh?
Corrin: That honor is mine. I'm certain. To have someone like you care so deeply for me...
Percy: You mean—
Corrin: Of course. I'll be yours if you'll have me, Percy.
Percy: WOOHOO! Yay! Yeah-hah!
Corrin: Teehee. How about we go on our first date right now?
Percy: Sounds good to me!

(Confession Scene)
Percy: Oh, gosh, I really am lucky! I get to marry you AND ride a dragon every day! Can Ace sleep in our room?

Percy: Mommmm! Is dinner ready yet?
Corrin: Welcome back, Percy. Yes, it's on the table.
Percy: Yay! All right, time to dig in!
Corrin: Hold it right there! Did you wash your hands?
Percy: Er, whoops! I guess not. I'll go do that real quick.
Corrin: Heehee. You don't have to rush. There's plenty of food.
Percy: But I gotta eat fast!
Corrin: Oh? Do you have somewhere to be?
Percy: No, I just gotta get back to training. "Eat fast, train fast"—that's MY motto!
Corrin: That's funny, because I've never heard it before...
Percy: Er, I mean, it's a new motto, OK?
Corrin: Heehee. OK, OK, whatever you say, dear.
Percy: Anyway, I gotta train fast so I can get strong enough to protect you!
Corrin: Oh? That's very sweet of you, dear. But, either way, you need to take your time when you eat, OK? Otherwise you'll get a tummyache. And if that happens, you can't train, right?
Percy: Oh! Yeah, I guess you're right! OK, then I'll eat it all real slow and careful like!
Corrin: Perfect. Now, bon appétit!

Percy: Hey, Mom! I'm back!
Corrin: Percy! Are you OK?! Your knee is bleeding!
Percy: Aw, no need to get all upset about it. I just scraped it a bit.
Corrin: That's terrible! We've got to clean this right away!
Percy: Aw, come on! I'm fine, really.
Corrin: You are NOT fine! What if it festers and we have to cut the whole leg off? Now come here, and I'll wash and put some medicine on it.
Percy: Mom, I TOLD you, I'm OK! You're such a worrywart...
Corrin: Of course I am! I'm your mother after all. Hold still.
Percy: Ouch! Couldn't you be a little more gentle?
Corrin: Oh my. Is this little boo-boo bothering you so much? How are you going to protect me one day if you can't handle this little ouchie?
Percy: Pffft! Whatever! I can handle it! It doesn't hurt at all! Put some more on it!
Corrin: There we go. All better. Now how did this happen anyway?
Percy: I was running down that steep trail on the mountain, and I tripped.
Corrin: Isn't that next to a cliff?! And you got away with just this little scratch? You could have died! I forbid you from ever doing something like that again! Thank the gods you were born so lucky...
Percy: But...but...I have to train, Mom!
Corrin: I know you do, but you don't have to be foolish about it. You can train hard and stay safe at the same time. Trust me. Now, promise me you'll never do something like this again. Promise!
Percy: OK... I'm sorry, Mom. I promise.
Corrin: It's fine. So long as you understand. Now, let's dig in!
Percy: Woohoo! I'm starving!

A Support

Percy: Hey, Mom...
Corrin: Percy? What's the matter?
Percy: I guess it's just...I wonder if I'll ever be strong enough to protect you.
Corrin: Why do you think that?
Percy: Because there are just so many people we've met who are stronger than me. And there are probably people who are even stronger than them out there! People and monsters and stuff on a level I can't even imagine... And when I think about that, I...I don't know what to do.
Corrin: I see. Well, I don't think you have to worry about that. I think, if you try hard enough, you can become stronger than anyone.
Percy: Really? You mean it?
Corrin: Yes, I do. One day, you'll become the strongest person in the whole world. I can just tell. Call it mother's intuition.
Percy: But "one day" isn't good enough! What if a big evil enemy shows up before then?
Corrin: Now that's something you really don't have to worry about. Until you become strong enough, I'll be the one who protects YOU.
Percy: Mom...
Corrin: And then, when you're stronger than everyone else—then you can protect me.
Percy: OK! Sounds good to me, Mom! I'm gonna bust my tail to get to that point, then. I promise!
Corrin: Perfect. And always remember that I'll be here to help you at every step.
Percy: Yahoo! Thank you so much, Mom!

Percy: Mom, I'm home! Is dinner ready yet?
Felicia: Ahh, there you are, Percy. The food is just cooling on the table.
Percy: No time to wait! I'm gonna dig in.
Felicia: Oh no, that simply won't do. Have you washed your hands yet?
Percy: Oops, I forgot. I'll run and wash them now.
Felicia: Teehee, what's your hurry? The food's not going anywhere.
Percy: I have to eat fast... Every moment I'm not training is a missed opportunity. Eat fast, train fast! I need to get big and strong quickly. How else will I be able to keep you safe?
Felicia: You're going to protect me, Percy? That makes me so happy!
Percy: I promise, I'll never let anything bad happen to you. You can count on me!
Felicia: I know I can. But please, slow down and chew your food properly! It will be awfully hard to train if you have a nasty tummyache.
Percy: Good point, Mom. For the time being, I'll train myself to eat quickly but efficiently.
Felicia: Heehee, thank you.

Percy: Mom, I'm home! Is dinner ready yet?
Felicia: Oh dear, Percy! Your knee is bleeding!
Percy: Fear not, Mom! This scratch is merely a symbol of my dedication to training.
Felicia: That's a nasty injury. We need to disinfect it right away!
Percy: No, no, it's OK! I'm sure it will be fine if we leave it alone.
Felicia: That's not how injuries work. If that wound festers, you won't be happy. Now hold still a moment.
Percy: Geez, don't be such a worrywart...
Felicia: I'm your mother. I can't help but worry about you. Now let me apply the medicine...
Percy: Youch! You didn't say that would sting. Can you try to be a little more gentle?
Felicia: Percy, can't you handle just a bit of pain? How are you going to protect anybody when you're acting like a little crybaby?
Percy: What? No, I was just...pretending! Yeah, I was totally just pretending it hurt. I can't believe you actually fell for that. Go ahead, put on more medicine. I can take it!
Felicia: Heehee. I only needed a small amount, Percy. How did you end up getting hurt?
Percy: Well, I was running down a mountain as fast as I could. But I lost my footing and tripped.
Felicia: I can't believe you only got this tiny scrape. You sure got lucky. But please, can you knock off all this reckless training?
Percy: But... How can I get strong enough to protect you if I quit training?
Felicia: I know you're just doing this because you want to watch over me. It's very sweet. But the last thing I want is for you to endanger yourself. I wouldn't want someone who didn't value their own safety to protect me. I care about you more than anything and couldn't stand to see you get hurt.
Percy: You're right... I'm sorry, Mom.
Felicia: It's OK, so long as you understand. Now, how about I make us some dinner?
Percy: Yay! All that tumbling made me hungry!

A Support

Percy: Hey, Mom...
Felicia: Oh dear, what's the matter? You seem sad today.
Percy: I've been wondering... I don't know if I can ever get strong enough to protect you.
Felicia: Why would you say such a thing?
Percy: There are so many strong people all around the camp. Much stronger than me... What do I do if I come across a foe who is more powerful than I am? Thinking about that makes me lose confidence.
Felicia: Ahh, I see. Well don't you worry. The key to getting stronger is working hard. If you do that, one day your dream will come true.
Percy: You're just trying to make me feel better...
Felicia: No, I wouldn't lie. Someday, I bet you'll be the strongest person in the world.
Percy: Someday isn't good enough. What if evil rears its head before I'm ready to defeat it?
Felicia: I'll keep you safe until your training is complete. And once that day comes, you can protect me, Percy.
Percy: That sounds like a great plan. I'm gonna bust my tail and work even harder. Then no enemy will dare challenge me.
Felicia: That's the spirit! I'll cheer you on every step of the way. And maybe make some of your favorite dishes too!
Percy: Yay! Thanks, Mom!

Azura: Hold your horses! Did you wash your hands first?
Percy: I...did not. I will do it now though.
Azura: Calm down a bit while you're at it. There's plenty of food.
Percy: But I have to eat fast... Every moment I don't train is a missed opportunity. Eat fast, train fast! I have go get big and strong quickly. How else will I be able to protect you?

Percy: Mom! I have returned!
Azura: Welcome back, Per... Percy! What happened to your knee?!
Percy: Never fear, Mom! It is only a small scratch—a sign of my dedicated training.
Azura: You poor thing. Come here and let's get it disinfected.
Percy: Disinfect? No... I'm sure it'll be fine. We can just leave it be.

Percy: I'm telling you, I'm fine, but if it will make you feel better...
Azura: A mother is allowed to worry over her children, no matter how old they are. Here—hold still.
Percy: Ouch! By the gods, that stings! Couldn't you be a bit more gentle?
Azura: Oh, Percy. If you can't tolerate this, how are you going to be able to protect me?
Percy: What? No, just then I was...pretending! Yeah, I was pretending it hurt! That's how I would lull a bad guy into a false sense of security. Jeez, Mom, I can't believe you fell for it. Go on, more medicine! I can handle it all!
Azura: Don't be silly, Percy. I only needed that tiny amount.
Percy: *phew*
Azura: How did you hurt your knee, anyway?
Percy: Oh, I was sprinting down a mountain, but I didn't see a branch and tripped. I rolled a ways down before I got my feet under me again.
Azura: You rolled down a mountain and only cut your knee a little? You definitely don't have your father's luck. Just the same, you have to promise me that you'll lay off the dangerous training.
Percy: But... How can I become strong enough to protect you if I do?
Azura: I really do appreciate that you want to protect me, Percy, but... If it means you doing dangerous things, then I'll have no part in it. You understand that I'm just looking out for you by saying so, right?
Percy: You're right. I'm sorry, Mom!
Azura: Good, I'm glad you understand. Now then, why don't we get something to eat before you run off again?
Percy: Yay! All that rolling really made me hungry!

A Support

Percy: Hey, Mom...
Azura: Hello, Percy. What's the matter? You look a little down.
Percy: I'm not sure if I can get strong enough to protect you, Mom.
Azura: What makes you say that?
Percy: Well, I've seen a lot of really strong people around the camp. It seems like they're all stronger than me. I'm worried that there are foes much, much stronger than me out there. When I think about running into one of them before I'm ready, I lose confidence...
Azura: I see what you mean, but you really shouldn't worry, Percy. Of course there are stronger people, but one day you'll be stronger than all of them.
Percy: Do you really think that, Mom? Or are you just trying to make me feel better?
Azura: Oh, I really do believe that, dear. A mother just knows these things. I can tell by how committed you are to growing stronger, if you must know. I think...someday you'll be the strongest person in the world.
Percy: But someday isn't good enough! Evil won't wait for me to become strong enough to defeat it!
Azura: Don't you worry about that. Until you're strong enough, I'll be protecting you. I'm pretty strong too, you know. And once you've become the strongest person ever, you can take over. How's that sound?
Percy: Yeah...that sounds like a good plan. It's a deal! I'm gonna work so hard to become strong, no enemy will dare to cross my path!
Azura: And I'll cheer you on! But for now, let's have dinner. I even made your favorite dish.
Percy: Woohoo! Thanks, Mom!

Percy: Mom, I'm home! Is dinner ready yet?
Mozu: There you are, darling. The food is just cooling on the table.
Percy: No time to wait! I'm gonna dig in.
Mozu: Hold your horses. Did you wash your hands yet?
Percy: Oops, I forgot. I'll run and wash them now.
Mozu: What's your hurry? We've got plenty of food.
Percy: I have to eat fast... Every moment I'm not training is a missed opportunity. Eat fast, train fast! I need to get big and strong quickly. How else will I be able to keep you safe?
Mozu: You're going to protect me, Percy? That is so sweet.
Percy: I promise, I'll never let anything bad happen to you. You can count on me!
Mozu: OK, darling. But please, do me a favor and chew your food properly. You won't be able to train if you have a tummyache.
Percy: Good point, Mom. For the time being, I'll train myself to eat quickly but efficiently.
Mozu: Heehee. Well go on and eat up!

Percy: Fear not, Mom! This scratch is merely a symbol of my dedication to training.
Mozu: Well we had better get that cut disinfected right this minute.
Percy: No really, it's OK! I'm sure it will be fine if we leave it alone.
Mozu: If that cut gets infected, you won't be singing the same tune. Now, sit yourself down.
Percy: Geez, don't be such a worrywart.
Mozu: I'm your mother. I can't help but worry from time to time. Stand still. I'm gonna apply some ointment.
Percy: Youch! You didn't say that would sting. Can you try to be a little more gentle?
Mozu: If you can't deal with a little pain, how are you supposed to protect me, Percy?
Percy: What? No, I was just...pretending! Yeah, I was totally just pretending it hurt. I can't believe you actually fell for that. Go ahead, put on more medicine. I can take it!
Mozu: Heh, I bet. So how did you end up hurting yourself?
Percy: Well, I was running down a mountain as fast as I could. But I lost my footing and tripped.
Mozu: And you only got this bitty little cut? That's some luck you've got, darling. You gotta knock off this foolhardy nonsense. I don't want you to get hurt.
Percy: But... How can I get strong enough to protect you if I quit?
Mozu: I know your heart is in the right place. Really, I do. But I'd never want to be protected by anybody who enjoys courting danger. You're the most important person in the whole world to me. I need you to try and keep yourself safe.
Percy: You're right... I'm sorry.
Mozu: It's OK, darling. Now how about you and I chow down.
Percy: That sounds great! All that tumbling made me hungry!

Mozu: What's the matter, darling? You're looking a little blue today.
Percy: I've been wondering... I don't know if I can ever get strong enough to protect you.
Mozu: What makes you say that?
Percy: There are so many strong people all around the camp. They are all much stronger than me... What do I do if I come across a foe who is more powerful than I am? Thinking about that makes me lose confidence.
Mozu: Hmm, I see. Don't you fret. The only way to get tougher is to work hard. If you commit to training day in and day out, you can accomplish wonders.
Percy: You're just trying to make me feel better.
Mozu: I'm telling the truth. Please, don't worry. I've seen all your hard work. Someday, I bet you'll become the strongest person in the whole wide world.
Percy: Someday isn't good enough. What if evil rears its head before I'm ready to defeat it?
Mozu: I'll keep you safe and sound until you've finished training. Then once you've become strong enough, you can protect me. All right, Percy?
Percy: That sounds like a great plan. I'm gonna bust my tail and work even harder. Then no enemy will dare challenge me.
Mozu: I'll cheer you on every step of the way. Maybe I'll even make some of your favorite dishes too!
Percy: Really? Thanks, Mom!

Percy: Yup!
Arthur: *sniff* Urgh...!!
Percy: Is something wrong, Pop? Why are you hunkered down there?

Percy: Oh, you mean Ace? Why, is something wrong with him?
Arthur: Well... Hmm, how do I put this? Has Ace been doing all right? Acting normally?
Percy: Of course! He's a little ball of energy day in and day out.
Arthur: He hasn't been aggressive or more ferocious than usual lately?
Percy: No, not at all. He seems totally normal.
Arthur: Well then, that's good to hear. I'm sure everything is fine.
Percy: Pop, why are you acting so weird? Is something bugging you?
Arthur: Oh, don't be silly, my boy! Your pop is always doing well. Just to double-check. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the dragon?
Percy: I already said that he's OK. Jeez!

Percy: What are you talking about? I could see you peeking from around the corner. It was pretty obvious...
Arthur: Well, ummm...
Percy: Geez, what's up, Pop? You really haven't been acting like yourself lately. Is something wrong?
Arthur: Well, I'll be honest with you. I've been a little worried about the dragon I gave you.
Percy: About Ace? Why? Last time we talked, you seemed really happy to hear that we got along so well.
Arthur: I recently discovered that the dragon's parents were both very nefarious creatures.
Percy: Nefarious?! But why?
Arthur: They had cruel personalities, Son. It was my bad luck to choose the wrong egg. And then, like a fool, I gave it to you. I've just been afraid that you were holding back something... You can always tell me the truth. I just want you to be safe.
Percy: So you were just trying to sneak a peak and make sure I was OK? You've been watching us play for a while. Isn't it obvious? Ace is the best buddy in the world!
Arthur: Well, he is a handsome devil, and he appears to be obedient to his master. I'm tempted to call him the ideal image of a dragon.
Percy: Well obviously! Don't worry, Pop. There's nothing wrong with him.
Arthur: Hmm, if you say so. Heh, perhaps your good fortune blew away my bad luck... I'm so happy! *sniffle*
Percy: What's wrong, Pop? You're all hunkered down like the other day.
Arthur: I'm just trying to hide the fact that your brilliance brings tears to my eyes. Don't mind me! *sniffle*
Percy: Oh, Pop, you're not doing a very good job of hiding your tears!

Percy: Mom, I'm home! Is dinner ready yet?
Selena: Percy, there you are. I just finished up making dinner.
Percy: No time to wait! I'm gonna dig in.
Selena: Wait a minute! Did you wash your hands?
Percy: Oops, I forgot. I'll run and wash them now.
Selena: Why are you in such a hurry? We've got plenty of food.
Percy: I have to eat fast... Every moment I'm not training is a missed opportunity. Eat fast, train fast! I need to get big and strong quickly. How else will I be able to keep you safe?
Selena: Ohh, you're gonna protect me, huh? I'd love to see that.
Percy: I promise, I'll never let anything bad happen to you. You can count on me!
Selena: I know I can. But please, slow down and chew your food. It won't be very fun to train if you have a terrible tummyache.
Percy: Good point, Mom. For the time being, I'll train myself to eat quickly but efficiently.
Selena: Heehee, fair enough. Dig in!

Percy: Fear not, Mom! This scratch is merely a symbol of my dedication to training.
Selena: We need to get that cut cleaned and disinfected right away.
Percy: No really, it's OK! I'm sure it will be fine if we leave it alone.
Selena: Don't be ridiculous! Let that cut fester, and then tell me how OK it is. Now hold still for a minute.
Percy: Don't be such a worrywart.
Selena: I can't help it! I'm your mother, after all. Now hold still while I use this medicine.
Percy: Youch! You didn't say that would sting. Can you try to be a little more gentle?
Selena: How are you going to protect me if you can't deal with a little bit of pain?
Percy: What? No, I was just...pretending! Yeah, I was totally just pretending it hurt. I can't believe you actually fell for that. Go ahead, put on more medicine. I can take it!
Selena: If you say so... So how did you end up getting this little injury anyways?
Percy: Well, I was running down a mountain as fast as I could. But I lost my footing and tripped.
Selena: And you only got this teeny little scrape? That sure is lucky. Don't you ever do anything so stupid and careless again.
Percy: But... How can I get strong enough to protect you if I quit?
Selena: *sigh* I know you're just trying to be sweet and watch out for me. But the last thing I want is for you to put yourself in a dangerous situation. I would never want to be protected by someone so foolish. You have to be more careful. Understand?
Percy: You're right... I'm sorry.

Percy: Yay! All that tumbling made me hungry!

Selena: What? Why do you say that?
Percy: There are so many tough people all around the camp. All of them are much stronger than me... What do I do if I come across a foe who is more powerful than I am? Thinking about that makes me lose confidence.
Selena: Hmm... I see. The thing is, you're still so young. You've got plenty of time to get stronger. The important thing is to keep working hard at training.
Percy: You're just trying to make me feel better.
Selena: It's the truth. Please, don't worry, I've noticed all your effort. Someday, I think you can become the strongest person in the whole world.
Percy: Someday isn't good enough! What if evil rears its head before I'm ready to defeat it!
Selena: I'll keep you safe and sound... Then once you're an amazing warrior, you can protect me. OK?
Percy: Really? That sounds great! I'm gonna bust my tail and work even harder. Then no enemy will dare challenge me.
Selena: I'll cheer you on every step of the way. Maybe I'll make some of your favorite meals, too. Obviously you'll need plenty of nutritious food!

Percy: OK, Ace! Looks like the coast is clear over here too. Let's get going! (dragon roar)
Kana: Hey, Percy! What are you doing out here? Taking an evening stroll?
Percy: Hey there, Kana! No, Ace and I are just on guard duty right now.
Kana: Really? I thought it was someone else's turn to go on patrol tonight.
Percy: I volunteered. We'd all be in danger if the enemy suddenly crept up on us, right? So I figured I could chip in by watching over the camp with Ace. Together, we are the super-secret defender squad!
Kana: Wow... That sounds amazing! You guys are awesome!
Percy: Heheheh, thanks. I thought of the idea while I was watching Pop. He's always out on some heroic mission or another. I want to be just like him!
Kana: You're off to a great start! Umm, why are you holding on to that bag? Is that for your patrolling duties too?
Percy: It's a garbage bag. I realized that I might as well pick up litter while I'm out. That way, I can make the camp prettier while also keeping everyone safe. Plus with Ace by my side, we can reach trash down here or up in the trees.
Kana: Wow! What a great plan. That's smart thinking.
Percy: We've already filled a whole bag today. I think it's probably because of all the strong winds we've been getting lately.
Kana: I never knew that this kind of thing mattered to you so much. You're becoming a hero, just like your dad!
Percy: Hahaha, stop it—you're embarrassing me. I'm nowhere near as brave as him. Hopefully I can be someday.
Kana: Hey, I have an idea. Can I come on patrol with you? I don't want to step on your toes, but I'd love to help out. Plus it might be even more fun if we teamed up and worked together. What do you say?
Percy: That's a good idea. We'd make a ton more progress if you pitched in. What are we waiting for? Let's go!
Kana: OK!

B Support

Percy: OK, it's time, Kana! You, me, and Ace are going out on patrol, just the three of us! Are you ready?
Kana: You bet! Let's go! Hahaha!
Percy: Wow, you're really energetic.
Kana: I sure am! Patrol duty is usually not this much fun. I guess it's better because I get to spend a bunch of time with you two, right?
Percy: Heheh, you're probably right. I feel the same way. I'm glad to have another friend.
Kana: Thanks for letting me join the super-secret defender squad. The only thing better than helping people out is being part of a cool team!
Percy: Right?! I totally agree. I was pretty proud of myself when I came up with that name. But there is so much more I want to do. Eventually, I hope to become a brave knight so that I can protect everyone around me.
Kana: That makes sense. After all, your papa inspired you to create the squad, right? It seems like you're on the path to greatness. These voluntary patrols and cleanup trips are bound to aid your journey!
Percy: I hope so. Our duties are supposed to help us become great heroes!
Kana: Neat! What other activities did you have planned?
Percy: All kinds of stuff! We can take care of the dragons and pegasi... deliver packages to people. That kind of thing. Hopefully we can improve our strength and riding skills all at the same time.
Kana: That's a great plan, Percy. I just know that you'll be the strongest warrior ever someday. Say, where did you get that mask? It's so cool looking!
Percy: Thanks! This mask symbolizes my unending quest for justice!
Kana: Oh, that makes sense. It's almost like you're the commanding officer on our team.
Percy: C-commanding officer? Really?
Kana: Well, you are leading the charge and planning all the activities, right? So you totally are the commander!
Percy: Hahaha, I guess you're right. That makes me pretty happy!
Kana: I'll do whatever I can to help you, Commanding Officer Percy!
Percy: If I'm the commander, then you're my sergeant. I'm counting on your help!
Kana: Yes, sir!

A Support

Kana: Ready for our patrol, Percy?
Percy: Of course! It's been great having you around to help out. Ace thinks so too.
Kana: I'm just glad to be part of the team.
Percy: I've never met someone who works harder than you. Whenever we have to help out and do heavy lifting, you make it look easy. I'm really impressed!
Kana: No way, you're the impressive one. Your dynamic with Ace is amazing. It's like you can read each other's minds! It doesn't matter if you're picking up trash or delivering parcels. You two do everything perfectly. That's why you make such a perfect commanding officer, Percy.
Percy: Thanks, Kana. It's crazy how well you and Ace get along. He never gets along with strangers. When I saw how much he likes you, I realized you're not an ordinary person.
Kana: Geez, we sure have been complimenting each other a lot lately.
Percy: Hahaha, you're right! I guess we're becoming good friends, huh?
Kana: Yeah! Even though it can be exhausting, cleanup and patrols are a blast. Hey, I've been wondering about something. Why do you think we get along so well?
Percy: Hm... Maybe because we're both pretty adventurous and brave!
Kana: Yeah, good point. We should keep being pals, don't you think?
Percy: Of course! We should get back to our duties soon. Do you want to ride on Ace's back today?
Kana: Wow! That sounds awesome! But if I ride with you, would we be too heavy for Ace? Wait, I know what to do! I'll transform into a dragon and follow you guys. If people see two dragons side by side, any enemies who see us will be sure to flee! C'mon, let's go!
Percy: Great idea! Follow me!

Kana: Hey, Percy! Wanna go on a patrol with me?
Percy: Huh? You mean right now?
Kana: Yep! I want to help everyone out as much as possible! Which right now means patrolling as much as possible! Are you in?
Percy: Sure! A Hero of Justice never shrinks from danger when duty calls! Besides, what kind of big brother would I be if I weren't?
Kana: Yay! Let's go!
Percy: Yeah, let's do it! Er, but if it's just the two of us, won't someone get mad?
Kana: Nah. I've been training real hard. We're perfectly safe. I'm sure they'll understand!
Percy: I don't know, Kana. You're still just a kid...
Kana: It'll be fine, it'll be fine. With our special sibling powers, we can take on anything!
Percy: You know what? You're right! Beware, evildoers! We've got a couple of heroes on patrol! Dun nun nun na!
Kana: Woohoo! We should go patrolling every day!
Percy: E-every day?
Kana: Yeah! I mean, patrols need to be done every day anyways. Why not by us?
Percy: Every...day...
Kana: What's the matter, Percy?
Percy: Oh, nothing. Uh, let's get going!
Kana: OK! Let's go!

Kana: Thanks for coming on patrol with me today, Percy!
Percy: Of course, Kana! I always enjoy making the rounds with a fellow comrade. Plus it's neat seeing my little brother become such a capable young hero.
Kana: Really? You mean it?!
Percy: Yup! You've been getting better every day. I think you've got a natural talent for this sort of thing!
Kana: Heehee. Thanks! What about you? Do you have any special abilities?
Percy: Me? I'd probably say it's my Daring Double-Dragon Facebreaker! Ooh, or maybe it's my Righteous Roundhouse Kick! Or-or my Heroic Hurricane Hip Toss to Gut Slam combo!
Kana: Wow! Those all sound so amazing! I bet if we combined our powers, we'd be super strong!
Percy: Super strong? No, we'd be unstoppable! A hero's justice is as inexorable as the tide! And two heroes combined would be like... like, um...two tides! Er, of two oceans! Both of which are inexorable!
Kana: Yayyy! I'm inexpertible! Come and get me, villains!
Percy: K-Kana? Kana, no! Wait for me!

Kana: Percy! Guess what time it is! That's riiiiiiiight! It's PATROL TIME!
Percy: Yeah! Let me just grab my stuff, and we'll be on our way!
Kana: Oh, but...first, I wanted to ask you a favor.
Percy: A favor? What kind of favor?
Kana: I want you to teach me how to be like you!
Percy: Huh? What do you mean?
Kana: I mean like showing me all those cool attacks you talked about last time! Like your Dripping Donut Facetaker! Or your Riotous Ramble Blouse Kick!
Percy: Er...those aren't quite the right names... Anyway, why the sudden interest?
Kana: 'Cause I'm the youngest kid in camp, right? So there's still a lot I can't do. But if I learn a bunch of new skills, maybe I could be more useful to everyone. Besides, I've always wanted to learn something neat from my big brother! I used to wonder a lot about what it would be like to spend time with you...
Percy: Kana...
Kana: So now that I can, I want to learn as much from you as possible! Is that OK?
Percy: Course it's OK! I'll teach you everything I know!
Kana: Thank you so much!
Percy: But I'm not going to let you get ahead of me that easy! I want to learn from you too! How about we have a contest to see who can get stronger the fastest?
Kana: OK, but you better be ready to lose!
Percy: Oh yeah? We'll see about that! All right, then—today, patrol duty. Tomorrow, the real training begins!
Kana: Sounds good to me!

Kana: Hey, Papa. Can I talk to you about something?
Percy: Sure, Kana. What's up?
Kana: It's Mama... I feel like she's always treating me like a child.
Percy: Well, of course she would! You are her son, after all.
Kana: I know, I know. I just mean I'm not as much of a child as I used to be. I want to help out with things. But whenever I try, she just tells me to go play with my friends instead.
Percy: Ah, I see. You want some responsibilities of your own.
Kana: Yeah! I want to show her she can rely on me. I wonder if there's anything I could do for her...
Percy: Hmmm... Well, whenever she and I both have the time, we spar together!
Kana: Oh...
Percy: Huh? Something wrong?
Kana: That's not really the type of thing I was looking for. Oh, I know! Let's have contest, Papa!
Percy: A contest?
Kana: Yeah! We'll have a contest to see which of us can make Mama happier! Between the two of us, I'm sure we can come up with all sorts of things! Whoever Mama thanks the most wins!
Percy: A father-son competition, huh? Sounds neat! I'm in!
Kana: Really? Yay!
Percy: But remember: I'm your mother's husband. I know her better than anyone! So I'm gonna try my hardest! I'm not pulling any punches, you hear?
Kana: That's fine by me, Papa. I'm gonna beat you fair and square!
Percy: Then may the best man win!

B Support

Kana: Hey, Papa! I've been making a ton of progress on our contest! How about you?
Percy: Well, I haven't done anything too special yet, but she's thanked me a whole lot. Let's see... I've got a tally right here. Take a look.
Kana: WOW! That's so many! And you got all these already?
Percy: I was as surprised as you are! I guess I do more for your mother than I thought. Heehee. But what else can be expected from a Hero of Justice?
Kana: Hmph... Well, I'm still not going to lose! Here, see! I recorded all mine too! And the total is...um...
Percy: N-no way! We both have the same score!
Kana: We do? We do! Haha! Kana's gonna beat you big-time, Papa!
Percy: And what, precisely, have you done to win her gratitude?
Kana: Mostly I've been trying to help out around camp! I spend each morning making arrows for the fletchers. Then, at lunch, I slice the bear meat and hand out food to the soldiers. Oh, and at night I make sure the mounts are well fed and outfitted for the next day. Plus I do a bunch of other little things whenever I have the time!
Percy: Is that right? That's a ton of work! You've really grown up, haven't you?
Kana: Huh?
Percy: Oh, just a thought. It wasn't so long ago that you were just a little baby! Maybe I've been treating you like too much of a child as well.
Kana: Heehee. Yeah, I've been working real hard. Soon there'll be nothing I can't do!
Percy: I believe it! And I bet your mother has been very proud of all your hard work.
Kana: I hope so! And I'm gonna make her even prouder tomorrow!
Percy: Heh. This is turning out to be a better challenge than I thought!

A Support

Kana: *grumble*
Percy: Hey, Kana!
Kana: Hi, Papa...
Percy: Something happen? I expected you to still be ecstatic over your victory the other day. Or has defeating a Hero of Justice already lost its novelty?
Kana: Oh, no. I'm still happy about that, I guess. It's just that I was trying to do things for Mama again earlier, and she made me stop. She said I should be spending more time playing around with my friends again. She still thinks I'm just a kid. Haven't I shown her I'm old enough to help out around camp?
Percy: Ah, so that's it... I wouldn't worry! I'm sure your help was just fine!
Kana: Then why doesn't she want me to help with anything?
Percy: I think your mother knows full well you're capable of handling these things. But seeing you acting so grown up makes her feel sad.
Kana: Huh? Why?
Percy: She doesn't want to lose her baby boy! She's super proud that you're growing up and working so hard. But at the same time, she's worried it means you won't need her anymore. It's a little silly, but it's true. Parents can be funny like that sometimes.
Kana: So...what should I do?
Percy: Um, I'd say to keep helping out around camp, but don't work yourself so hard. Take breaks to see your friends, play games, go on adventures. You know! And try to spend some quality time with your mother every now and then. Think you can handle that?
Kana: But...
Percy: What's wrong? Do you not want to spend time with your mother?
Kana: No, that's not it! It's just...I feel like that stuff is for babies.
Percy: No, Kana, it's not for babies. It's for children. And your mother wants you to stay a child for just a little while longer. We both do.
Kana: Papa...
Percy: We know that you're growing and that you want more responsibilities. And we know that you're going to be a fine young man someday. But for now...relax. Don't try to grow up so quickly.
Kana: OK. Thanks, Papa. I'll think real hard about what you said.
Percy: Good! You know... I think it would be good if you spent the night in with your mother. I'll go talk to her about it!
Kana: Wait! What about you?
Percy: M-me? I can't! The clock of justice never stops ticking!
Kana: But, Papa! I thought you wanted me to enjoy my childhood. It wouldn't be much of a childhood without a papa...
Percy: Well when you put it like that... OK, OK, fine. I'll stay in with you guys.
Kana: Yaaay!
Percy: A night in with the family, huh? You know, I'm actually pretty excited. Heehee... Sometimes I can't tell who's in charge here: me or Kana!

Percy: Forward thrust! And sideways! And slashity-slap!
Kana: Percy! You're training without me. No fair.
Percy: How's that not fair?
Kana: If you're training all the time, then you're going to get really strong.
Percy: So? Isn't that the point?
Kana: But then you'll get stronger than I am.
Percy: Then train with me.
Kana: Really? You won't mind?
Percy: Two train better together anyway. We'll get so powerful that our dads won't even recognize us. I'll be a hero for justice that's even more heroey and justicier!
Kana: And I'll get strong as my papa. Let's train around the clock, Percy.
Percy: Our dads won't know what hit 'em.
Kana: Yay! Let's get started!

B Support

Percy: All right. Time to train, Kana!
Kana: Yay! What will we work on today?
Percy: Upper-body strength. Nothing better for that than chopping wood.
Kana: Whoa! We'll be superstrong by dinner!
Percy: I've made two piles of logs. Here's your axe. I've got mine. Let's get chopping.
Kana: We should make it a game—a race to finish first.
Percy: Let's do it! No way you'll beat me though.
Kana: I'll beat you in half the time. Just you see!
Percy: I'm not going to go easy on you. On your marks? Get set? Go!
Kana: Woohoo! Take THAT. And THAT. And THAT.
Percy: Er, you are good... But you, log, you won't escape justice. Choppity-CHOP. And one more CHOP. And a third CHOP for justice!
Kana: Whoa, you're good, Percy! But now I'll show you what I can really do! Eeeee! My axe got stuck! It's wedged in tight!
Percy: One more chop and—? DONE! Hey, Kana! Why'd you stop? You would have won.
Kana: My axe is stuck! I still can't get it out. No matter how I pull and pull— Oh. It came out. That was dumb.
Percy: Sorry, Kana. My fault. That always happens.
Kana: What does?
Percy: I just get really lucky when I do stuff. Way, way lucky. So whenever I try to win some game, something nuts happens. And the other person loses.
Kana: Hmpf...
Percy: You would have won, though. So...you did!
Kana: What?! No, you can't just give me the win. That's like I cheated.
Percy: But I'm the one who sorta cheated. I should have warned you.
Kana: No, just take your win, OK? I'm just going to keep training until I can overcome your weird luck thing.
Percy: All right then. Let's chop another pile of wood. Try your hardest.
Kana: Game on, Percy!

A Support

Percy: Ready to train, Kana?
Kana: Sure am. What are we doing today?
Percy: We'll run around the lake to build strength and stamina.
Kana: How about we make this one a game too?
Percy: Of course! First to do a lap wins?
Kana: Neat. Now don't go easy on me because of your lucky-duckness.
Percy: You'll have to race even harder. I can't promise my good luck won't kick in. No matter what—keep running.
Kana: Keep running, no matter what? Sure. I'm no quitter.
Percy: On your mark...get set...GO!
Kana: Wheeeee!
Percy: Woooooo!
Kana: You're fast. But I'm going to win! Keep running, keep running...
Percy: Whoa. Kana's almost caught up... She's going to pass me!
Kana: HEY! STUPID WIND! STOP THAT! I CAN'T SEE WITH ALL THESE LEAVES!
Percy: What's she shouting back there?
Kana: STUPID, STUPID LEAVES! Ugh. Whatever. Just keep running... keep running... I've got to win!
Percy: Huh? Kana, you're passing—? You've passed me!
Kana: Keep running, keep running!
Percy: She's left me in the dust!
Kana: Wheeee! Finish line! I WON!
Percy: Whoa, you beat me fair and square, Kana. Even with that freak gust of wind!
Kana: I just followed your advice, that's all.
Percy: No, you've grown much stronger since we started training all the time.
Kana: You think so? Then we should train even more.
Percy: Of course. We're the best training partners ever. We'll be as strong as our dads before much longer.
Kana: Even stronger, I bet!

Kana: Give it a try.
Percy: Well, OK. But I doubt I can get it open if you couldn't.
Kana: Come on, Percy. Put some muscle into it!
Percy: Grrrrgh! Wow, you weren't kidding. This lid's all gummed up!
Kana: One more twist!
Percy: Grrrrgh! GRRRGH...AAAH!
Kana: You did it!
Percy: Nearly ripped my hands off...
Kana: Your lucky-duckness kicked in, Percy!
Percy: No, Kana. I just didn't want to disappoint you.
Kana: What? That's how you got it open?
Percy: Sure. I always want to do my best when I'm around you.
Kana: Really? I feel the same way.
Percy: You're always trying harder, so I want to try harder, and then you try harder... It's like we're dancing together or something! Er, I mean...wow, I don't even know how I mean... Forget what I said.
Kana: Huh? Why are you blushing? Is this some game to see who can blush best?
Percy: Ha! No.
Kana: You're weird but pretty fun, Percy. Well, if we're always pushing each other like we're in some sort of dance... then I'd say we're perfect dance partners. Let's dance together forever, OK?
Percy: You mean, like now? We dance until one of us falls down?
Kana: No, silly. I mean we keep on training together—forever! We'll be the strongest in the world if we keep pushing each other.
Percy: Yeah! Super-duper strong! But, uh, Kana? Forever is a long time. Sure you won't get sick of me?
Kana: Oh, you big dope! No way.
Percy: Then forever it is!

Percy: Ah, there he is! Over there! I wonder why he's just sitting on that tree stump... And who are those people with him? Huh?! W-wait just a minute... Those aren't people... They're forest animals! It looks like rabbits, squirrels...even bears! They're all sitting around in a circle like schoolkids...
Shigure: I think that's enough for one day. How did you enjoy it?
Percy: Are you...talking with the animals?
Shigure: Ah! Who's there?! Wait! No, don't go!
Percy: They sure left in a hurry. Sorry for making them run off. That was my fault, Shigure.
Shigure: You just startled them is all, Percy. Frankly, I was startled too! But please, don't worry about it. They can't help being a little shy. So tell me, what are you doing all the way out here?
Percy: I was looking for you, of course! Growing up so far apart prevented us from getting to know each other. I thought maybe we could hang out and talk for a while. What do you say?
Shigure: O-oh... I don't know... I'm really not the most interesting person around. You might have a better time talking with someone more outgoing.
Percy: No way, that's not true at all. We're brothers, after all. You're the only person I want to see!
Shigure: You shouldn't feel obligated to be my friend just because we're related. And to be honest, I'm not in the most social mood right now. Please, excuse me...
(Shigure leaves)
Percy: H-hey, don't leave! Come back, Shigure!

Percy: *sigh* Shigure disappeared again... He probably went back to that little valley where I saw him the other day. Playing with all those animal friends of his. Ehehe... Looks like I was right! Hi, Shigure!
Shigure: Percy?! What are you doing here? Ah! Ah! Don't leave!
Percy: Not again! Looks like I scared them away. I really didn't mean to do that. Sorry, Shigure.
Shigure: N-no, don't worry about it. They aren't used to other people being around here. It's easy to startle them.
Percy: Oh, I get it... Jeez, it's amazing how you became friends with all of the forest critters. I mean, I'm friends with Ace, but that's totally different.
Shigure: Why were you looking for me again? Did you need something?
Percy: Yeah! I still want to talk and play with you, Shigure. We should be friends!
Shigure: I understand... Listen, I'm sorry for being a little cold the other day. The truth is, it makes me happy that you care about our relationship so much. I'm your brother, and I don't want to let you down.
Percy: Really? So I can stay here with you?! Hey, I have an idea. Why don't you call back your animal friends? I want to play with them!
Shigure: Honestly, I don't think they would be comfortable around you.
Percy: R-really? But why? I mean, you're friends with them. If I try super hard, maybe I can become pals with them too! Won't you teach me? Please?!
Shigure: Hmm... I'm not sure if this will help, but... Animals are highly attuned to the feelings of people around them. Most likely, they detected something in you that drove them off.
Percy: What do you mean? It's not like I thought they were my enemies.
Shigure: They can sense what you were thinking. Did you size them up to figure out which one might make a tasty dinner? Even just for a moment?
Percy: C'mon, Shigure. I'm an ally of justice. I would never think something like that!
Shigure: Of course not, I'm sorry. That's just the biggest reason I could think of for them to run away. I appreciate how sincere you are about befriending them. I'll try to think of what can be done to make them feel safe around you. There has to be a way to help out my adorable little brother.
Percy: Y-you mean it?

A Support

Percy: H-hey, Shigure...
Shigure: What's wrong, Percy? You look upset.
Percy: Umm... Well, I wanted to talk to you about those animal friends of yours...
Shigure: Oh? Did you want to go pay them a visit? I was just about to head in that direction if you want to come along. Are you ready to prove that you don't mean them any harm?
Percy: Yeah, about that... I've been thinking a ton about what happened the other day... I think you were right. About them sensing something about me...
Shigure: What do you mean?
Percy: I-I was feeling jealous because you were so friendly with all of them. You're my brother and all, but I envied how much attention you gave them. In the moment, I got frustrated and just wanted them to go away. I bet that's why those animals thought I was their enemy. I was acting like a big mean bully. I failed to be a true ally of justice...
Shigure: Percy, I'm glad that you thought about this and talked to me.
Percy: The point is, I can't go back out there anymore. I don't want to hassle them.
Shigure: Don't say that. You should absolutely go back. By opening up, you've changed, and the animals will be able to tell. I think they'll be more welcoming.
Percy: I'm not sure...
Shigure: Well I am. You didn't have to admit to feeling jealous, but you did anyway. That tells me that you've got a good soul. They'll be able to see that too. Look! There's a rabbit hopping this way.
Percy: W-wah! What am I supposed to do?
Shigure: Just calm down... Relax, and take a breath. Quiet your mind and be peaceful... Just think about how you want to be friends with the furry critter.
Percy: O-OK, I'll try! He's letting me pet him! Look, Shigure! The little guy is just sitting here. He's not running away or anything!
Shigure: See? I told you things will work out fine.
Percy: Phew, I'm so relieved.
Shigure: Now everyone is getting along. Including us brothers. Let's wander to the clearing in the woods. I bet your new friends will be waiting there.
Percy: OK! Thanks for being such an amazing brother, Shigure!

Dwyer: There you go... Drink it up, Ace... You really like my coffee, huh? (dragon roar)
Percy: Ace! There you are!
Dwyer: Hello, Percy. Nice dragon you've got there. He's got excellent taste.
Percy: I'm sorry that I left you alone for so long, Ace! My pop needed me. And you know what happens when Pop starts talking—he never stops! Hey! What's that you're drinking, Ace?
Dwyer: A bucket of my best coffee.
Percy: C-coffee?!
Dwyer: Who knew dragons liked it? Maybe they don't. But my coffee is irresistible.
Percy: Ace is usually really picky. Only water from the purest rivers and lakes! Coffee is so icky. Why'd he want to drink something that looks like muddy water?
Dwyer: My coffee? Muddy?
Percy: How did you force Ace to drink it? Did you put a hunk of raw meat in the bucket?
Dwyer: Perish the thought! I was simply pouring myself some coffee when your dragon blundered in. His stomach was growling, and he licked the back of my neck. Ace was going to eat me. As I said, he does have excellent taste. But I gave him something better than me. Which is my coffee. That was that.
Percy: Thanks, Dwyer! I haven't seen Ace make the happy face in a long time!
Dwyer: Don't mention it.
Percy: But I'm sad that I can't get Ace to make his happy face anymore. I know, Dwyer! Teach me how to make that coffee stuff!
Dwyer: No need. I'll make it for him anytime you want. Just ask.
Percy: Ace is my partner in justice. I should know how to make him happy. Besides, everyone is always talking about coffee. I should know how to make it.
Dwyer: But it took me years to learn the secrets of making coffee...
Percy: I can do it! Please, please, please?
Dwyer: It seems I have no choice. Your dragon is giving me threatening looks.
Percy: I swear that I'll do my best.
Dwyer: Fine. Anything to spare myself the indignity of being an appetizer.

Percy: Thanks! You won't regret this. I'll be the best coffee apprentice ever! <br Dwyer: All right, Percy. See you in class.

B Support

Dwyer: All right. Next step. Watch carefully. Pour the water over the coffee grounds...
Percy: Pour it! Yes! Understood!
Dwyer: No, Percy, watch and listen. Pour the water slowly, clockwise... then counterclockwise. Keep pouring until the water rises to the top of the strainer, over the grounds. Wait several minutes as the coffee trickles into the pot below.
Percy: Um, and you warmed up the cup beforehand. Right?
Dwyer: Yes. Otherwise the cup cools the coffee from its ideal serving temperature. Now you try it all. Warm the coffee cup first.
Percy: Take THAT, cup!
Dwyer: Whoa, whoa, whoa! You don't throw the cup into the open flame! You heat water first, then pour it into the cup to warm it.
Percy: Oh, that's right. Lemme just get that cup back out of the— OW! HOT HOT HOT!
Dwyer: Yes, Percy. If you stick your hand into an open flame, it's hot. Did you burn yourself?
Percy: I'm...I'm all right.
Dwyer: Let me fetch some salve for that, to be safe. Just one moment.
Percy: Sorry I'm such a pain, Dwyer...
(fade to black)
Percy: Making coffee is hard, Dwyer.
Dwyer: Sure it is, but don't kick yourself too hard. I flubbed my first five hundred cups.
Percy: I always rush into things. I didn't know it would be this difficult. I'll never be any good at this.
Dwyer: No? Well then... You'll save me a lot of trouble if you just give up.
Percy: Huh?
Dwyer: Time is precious. Mine more than most. I'd prefer not to waste it.
Percy: Then I'm not giving up! I wouldn't want any of the time you've already spent on me going to waste!
Dwyer: That's...not exactly what I meant. But all right. Let's start over from the beginning.
Percy: I'll do it right this time, Dwyer!

A Support

Percy: The coffeepot is warmed up... The coffee grounds are in the filter...
Dwyer: Yes, excellent. Now pour the hot water just right, Percy...
Percy: Right. Clockwise...
Dwyer: Take it nice and slow. You mustn't rush steeping the grounds.
Percy: Then counterclockwise... Please be delicious...please be delicious... please be delicious... Now, wait a few minutes...
Dwyer: All right. That's enough. How time flies when you're brewing! Now pour from the pot into the cup.
Percy: And...perfect!
Dwyer: Let me be the judge of that. *sip* Hmm. *sip, sip* Not bad.
Percy: Really?! Gimme! Hey! You're right! Not bad! I just hope that Ace will like it.
Dwyer: Your dragon knows nothing if he can't tell your coffee passes muster.
Percy: I'll never be able to do it without you watching over me, Dwyer.
Dwyer: Perhaps. Just brew a few hundred more cups. Then you'll have the ol' Dwyer touch.
Percy: I never could have done it without you though.
Dwyer: True. But I could have never done it without you either.
Percy: Done what?
Dwyer: Learned that it's worth hanging in there. Even when you really don't want to.
Percy: I really need to repay you somehow. How about I teach you something that I'm good at?
Dwyer: Sure, I'm game. Like what?
Percy: I'll show you how to ride Ace.
Dwyer: Thanks, but no.
Percy: Why? You can do it! You're good at everything.
Dwyer: I'm good at not putting my life in your dragon's hands—er, wings.
Percy: Ha! Ace would never eat you. He knows you're my friend.
Dwyer: Does he? Let's give him a while more to figure that out. He still looks at me like I'm a Dwyer doughnut to dunk in his bucket of coffee. Thanks anyway, Percy.

Percy: Sophie! I'm calling you out!
Sophie: Percy? What's gotten into you?
Percy: My dragon, Ace, is super strong. But your horse, Avel, is pretty good, too. I want to settle once and for all which of them is the better steed!
Sophie: Oho... Interesting idea, Percy! You're on! Avel's a little too headstrong to listen to what I tell him... But when he's of a mind to, he's the fastest, strongest horse of them all!
Percy: And my Ace is the best dragon there is! He'll make Avel look like a joke!
Sophie: But how do we pit them against each other? I'd hate to have them fight.
Percy: Why not just race them? Though Ace would be flying, so maybe that's not fair...
Sophie: Psh! That doesn't matter to us! When Avel gets up a good head of steam, he might as well be flying too!
Percy: Yessss! It's on now! Let's fly, Ace!
Sophie: Mount up, Avel!
Percy: Hey...where's Ace? Huh. Did I forget to bring him along with me today...?
Sophie: W-wait! Avel! Where are you going?! That's the wrong way! AVEEEEEEEL!
Percy: B-be right back! I'm gonna go get Ace!
(Percy leaves)
Sophie: I've gotta stop Avel! Oh, Avel, please wait! WAIT FOR MEEEE!

Percy: Sophie!
Sophie: Percy. I'm ready for you this time.
Percy: Today we're deciding once and for all whether Ace or Avel is the better steed!
Sophie: You got that right! I can't wait! Well...I say that, but... we're gonna have to wait, because Avel went charging off somewhere.
Percy: Whaaaaat?! He's missing AGAIN?
Sophie: I shudder to think what he must be up to somewhere...
Percy: We've gotta find him, then! Me and Ace will help!
Sophie: You sure, Percy? It's really my problem...
Percy: Nah, I'm worried too. I mean, I bet you're right... Avel probably IS ruining someone's day somewhere.
Sophie: Y-yeah. I'm worried about my horse, but I'm even more worried about whoever's in his path.
Percy: I'll take to the air with Ace to see if I can't spot Avel from above!
Sophie: OK! While you're doing that, I'll check all the places I know he likes to go. There's a lot of them, though... I hope I can get to them all.
Percy: Why don't you ride Avel? That way, you can cover more ground.
Sophie: Good thinking, Percy! It shouldn't take me long to check on horseback! Here, Avel! It's time for you to strut your stuff!
Percy: ...Oh. Right.
Sophie: Yeaaahhh... I kinda forgot...
Percy: Whoops.
Sophie: Never mind Ace and Avel... We need to get our own acts together first...
Percy: Yeah...I think you hit the nail on the head...

Percy: Sophie! Today's the day for real!
Sophie: Yep. Nothing's gonna get in our way this time.
Percy: We're finally finding out who's better: Ace or Avel!
Sophie: Heh heh...I hate to break it to you, but I already know the answer to that one. Don't count Avel out because he's going up against a dragon—you'll be surprised!
Percy: Hey, Ace isn't just any dragon! He's the strongest dragon in the whole wide world!
Sophie: OK, so how do we decide who wins? What are we judging by?
Percy: I came up with a few contests that would be fair for both a horse and a dragon. Like a speed-eating showdown, or a weight-pulling race. What do you think?
Sophie: Uh...hold that thought.
Percy: Why? What's wrong?
Sophie: Don't look now, but...
Percy: Uh-oh, don't tell me— Wait, really? Ace and Avel are...getting along?
Sophie: Yeah...it's almost unsettling. Avel usually wolfs down his food, but he's actually sharing with Ace this time!
Percy: When did they get so close?
Sophie: Good question.
Percy: ...
Sophie: ...
Percy: Why don't we call off the contest?
Sophie: Yeah. I don't have the heart to go through with it now. Not after seeing how close the two of them apparently are.
Percy: Yeah. We can still do something together, though! Let's all go for a walk! There's a big open field not far off from here!
Sophie: I like this plan! Let's go!
Percy: And on the way, you can tell me stories about you and Avel.
Sophie: Only if you tell me about your adventures with Ace!
Percy: Glad to!

Percy: Sophie!
Sophie: Oh, hey, Percy. What's up?
Percy: What's up? Uhmmm... A-Ace misses Avel, that's all!
Sophie: Oh! Let me go see if I can find Avel, then. Wait...where's Ace?
Percy: Oops! Dang it...
Sophie: What's going on here?
Percy: N-never mind! Golly, where could Ace have gone? He was right here a minute ago! Haha!
Sophie: What's gotten into you, Percy?
Percy: OK, I lied! I'm sorry! The truth is...Ace has nothing to do with me being here!
Sophie: Go on...
Percy: I was lonely for you. That's it, really.
Sophie: Huh. Well, OK. I don't see why you'd want to cover that up, though. You can come visit me anytime! I don't mind.
Percy: Yeah, but...I don't even have a reason. I just...wanted to see you really bad.
Sophie: Percy...
Percy: I think about you all the time... Even when I'm supposed to be doing other stuff, my mind wanders and I think of you. Is that...weird?
Sophie: Aw, Percy. No, it's not weird at all. In fact, I think it's sweet that you think about me so much. It gives me warm fuzzies inside.
Percy: It...it does?
Sophie: So I meant what I said before about coming to see me whenever. Even if you don't have a reason! I'll make sure to visit you sometimes, too.
Percy: If I don't need a reason, then I'll come see you every day! Wait... Wouldn't it be easier if we just WERE together? Like, all the time?
Sophie: Hmm...yeah. Being together forever would make it simpler, it's true. But we're just talking about spending time together...right? Let's not get ahead of ourselves here...
Percy: OK! Whatever you say, Sophie! Let's visit each other whenever we can!

Percy: Hiyah! Gah! HIYAAAAAAAH!
Midori: Every time I see you, you're practicing with that axe! You're such a hard worker!
Percy: Thanks, Midori. I gotta take my training seriously so I can be like Pop!
Midori: Heehee. Your father is your hero, huh?
Percy: Of course! Pop is the most valiant knight out there...even if he's a bit unlucky.
Midori: Unlucky? What do you mean?
Percy: One time, he was out for a walk, and a sinkhole opened up and swallowed him! Or there's the time a mama dragon mistook him for her baby and flew him to her nest! No matter what happens to Pop, he never gets discouraged! He always gives his best.
Midori: Wow. That's really impressive. No wonder you look up to him so much.
Percy: That's why I've gotta keep training! I plan on being a valiant knight just like my pop!
Midori: That's great, but I don't think training alone will do it. Don't knights have a code? I think you're supposed to learn to be proper and have good manners.
Percy: Hmm... You might be right.
Midori: Well, don't sweat it. I'd be happy to teach you a thing or two about etiquette.
Percy: Really?! That would be amazing! Thanks, Midori!
Midori: No problem! Just leave it to me.

B Support

Midori: All right, Percy. Are you ready to learn some manners?
Percy: Yeah! I can't wait!
Midori: Good! We're going to start with proper dining etiquette. Why don't you show me how you normally eat?
Percy: You got it, Midori! Time to dig in! NOMNOMNOM! MMMM! NOMNOMNOMNOM!
Midori: Percy! What is wrong with you?! That was terrible!
Percy: Huh? Wh-what do you mean?
Midori: You used your hands! You were chewing with your mouth open! And don't even get me started on not using a napkin! That was disgusting!
Percy: I've gotta remember all those rules? Sheesh! Manners are hard!
Midori: Don't get discouraged already! We're going to start from the very beginning.
Percy: OK! Sounds good. Pop wouldn't give up!
Midori: No, he wouldn't. Let's begin with our utensils. See how I hold the chopsticks? They are supported by my thumb and ring finger.
Percy: I don't see what this has to do with being a knight! I can hold an axe just fine.
Midori: Percy, we talked about this! Knights live by a code, and that includes manners!
Percy: OK. I'll try! Oops! The chopstick snapped in two.
Midori: That was too much pressure, but that's OK. I planned ahead. I brought extras!
Percy: Thanks, Midori!
Midori: You're doing your best! I'm not giving up on you, so don't you give up either! Now let's practice unfolding our napkins...

A Support

Midori: In addition to proper manners at the dinner table, a knight should be clean at all times. I'm going to show you how to stay neat and tidy—on the battlefield and off!
Percy: Neat and tidy?! How am I supposed to do that?
Midori: We'll take it step by step. Why don't you summon your dragon? We'll start there.
Percy: OK! Ace! Here, boy! (dragon roar)
Midori: Whoa, whoa! You can't hop on just yet!
Percy: Huh? What's wrong?
Midori: Ace's saddle looks filthy! You should wipe it down before and after every ride!
Percy: That sounds like a lot of work! Ace and I always end up covered in mud!
Midori: Exactly! Taking proper care of your equipment will help you stay neat and tidy! If you want to be a valiant knight, then you've got to stay clean! Here's a towel.
Percy: OK. Thanks, Midori. ...Hey, wait! What's that little girl doing over there?
Midori: Hmm. I don't know. I don't see her mother or father anywhere, do you?
Percy: No, and she's about to fall into that lake! Come on, Ace! We've gotta save her! (dragon roar)
Midori: Percy, wait! You didn't finish cleaning your saddle!
Percy: There's no time! FLY, ACE!
(Midori leaves)
(fade to black)
Percy: Whew! I'm back. Sorry about that, Midori. I had to go find her mother. That little girl's safe and sound now. Are you ready to continue?
Midori: Uh, Percy...I'm having second thoughts.
Percy: Second thoughts? About what?
Midori: When that little girl was in danger, you sprang into action at once! If you'd taken the time to clean your saddle first, you might have been too late. Maybe these rules are getting in the way.
Percy: You have a point. If I'm going to be a valiant knight, I've got to be ready! Still, it's good to know the proper way to do things. I appreciate your help.
Midori: Really? Thanks!
Percy: Yep. Now let's get back to work! What else are you gonna teach me today?
Midori: I have a few more ideas...
Percy: Good! Let's get started!

Midori: That sounds good. I'll just settle down under this tree...
Percy: Wait! You might get dirty! Let me spread this blanket on the ground first.
Midori: Oh, my! Aren't you prepared?! That's very chivalrous of you.
Percy: Is the breeze too cold? Here, let me give you my jacket.
Midori: Goodness, Percy! That's not necessary! Where'd you learn all this?
Percy: Oh, uh...nowhere. Would you care for some tea? Just give me one second. I'll brew some in this jar. Be right back!
Midori: That sounds great! Huh. What's Percy doing over there? Is he reading a book?
Percy: ...All right. Here we are with your hot tea. Allow me to pour you a cup.
Midori: Thank you. ...So, Percy, what is that book you were reading?
Percy: Huh?! What book?
Midori: I saw you hiding behind that tree flipping through a book just now! What was it?
Percy: I have no idea what you're talking about!
Midori: Don't try to hide it from me! I know you were reading something.
Percy: Oh... THIS book?
Midori: Uh...does that say, "A Gentleman's Guide to Wooing the Lady of Your Dreams"? The lady of your dreams?! ...You don't mean me, do you?
Percy: Yep! I know how much you like manners, so I wanted to impress you.
Midori: Well, you sure did!
Percy: Really?!
Midori: Yeah! You read an entire book just for me! And you put up with my etiquette classes!
Percy: But I wasn't a very good student.
Midori: That's not true! Just look at you today. Your manners were excellent!
Percy: They were?
Midori: Yes, Percy! You've swept me off of my feet like a true knight in shining armor!
Percy: YAY! I did it! I did it!
Midori: Heehee. Yes, you did. I've fallen head over heels for you.

Ignatius: You see me as a brave warrior?
Percy: Well, yeah! Because you are, duh! I want to be just like you when I grow up.
Ignatius: Percy, that's very kind of you to say, but trust me—you don't want to be like me.
Percy: Really? Why not? Wait, I get it. You're just being modest. 'Cause the bravest warriors don't need to brag. Man, you are SO COOL!
Ignatius: Please, you're overestimating me. I'm not the man you think I am.
Percy: Nope! You're a brave, gallant warrior, and I won't hear any further objections! Wait, I just thought of something that's even better than an autograph... You can coach me! I want to learn to be as brave as you. C'mon, what do you say?
Ignatius: Coach you? I'm sorry—that's a bad idea.
Percy: Aww, c'mon. Pleeeeease?
Ignatius: Ugh, that pitiful look. I can't turn you down. Fine. If you insist. But I'm warning you—I'm not a good teacher. And I'm also not brave.

Ignatius: No. Put out the fire. This isn't happening. I'm your coach, remember? You have to listen to what I say.
Percy: Ugh, fine. I'll just have to come up with something else... I've got it! Why don't I throw some rocks at that beehive over there?
Ignatius: Gods, no! Why would you think of that?
Percy: So the bees will chase us, of course! Then we'll have to run for our lives! Here I go...
Ignatius: Percy, stop! This is madness!
Percy: Aww, training with you isn't as fun as I imagined it would be. Wait, what's that over there?
Ignatius: Hmm. Looks like a bear cub. We should get out of here. The mother bear is probably nearby.
Percy: What's he doing to the tree trunk? Why's he scraping it like that?
Ignatius: This is bad. He's going to anger the bees in that hive! Percy, we really need to get out of here!
Percy: What about the poor bear cub? Won't the bee stings hurt him?
Ignatius: I don't know, and I don't care to find out. Let's move!
Percy: Just a second. I'll be right back. YAAAAH!
(Percy leaves)
Ignatius: Percy! No!
Percy: *pant* *pant* I...I think I scared him off. It looks like the bees are still calm.
Ignatius: Did you get stung?
Percy: Nope! Not even once. And hopefully that cub stays away.
Ignatius: That was incredibly reckless of you. But also incredibly brave.
Percy: I'm sorry. I just acted before I even had a chance to think.
Ignatius: Hmm...
Percy: Hey, Coach, can we stop for today? That's all the excitement I can handle for now.
Ignatius: Yes. I agree.

Percy: Hey, Coach! What time should we practice today? Got anything super dangerous lined up for me to try? I'll do anything! Try me!

Percy: Huh? Why not?
Ignatius: Because you are already far braver than I.
Percy: I don't know about that...
Ignatius: Nonsense. You rushed in to save that bear cub without a thought for yourself. You could have been stung hundreds of times. Or worse, you could have run afoul of the mother bear! I know I have a reputation as a tough warrior, but it is undeserved.
Percy: That's not true, Ignatius. I've seen you in action!
Ignatius: Oh, I'll fight. I'll fight to protect my friends. But I'm always filled with fear.
Percy: Wow, you're able to rush into battle even though you're deathly afraid? That might be the bravest thing I've ever heard!
Ignatius: Well, thank you, Percy. I never really thought about it that way.
Percy: Heh. You're welcome. Well, I guess if you think I'm braver than you, do you want some coaching from ME? I know a great cliff we can jump off of! Or there's this really spooky cave we could explore...

Percy: Why would I get tired of spending time with my best friend?

Velouria: Oh... I guess you're the type who doesn't mind having constant company. Or is it just easier to spend time with a dragon? You probably don't have to mind your manners as much.
Percy: Hmph! It's a little rude when you put it that way. Ace has feelings too!
Velouria: I'm sorry... I wasn't thinking. I really didn't mean to be rude.

Velouria: I won't let this opportunity pass me by. But I don't know what to do…
Percy: Hey, Velouria. Say, what are you doing?
Velouria: Take a look up at that treetop.
Percy: Oh, is that a bird's nest up there?
Velouria: That's right. A beautiful bird was living up there until recently... But I think she continued her migration, because the nest is empty now. Now the nest is starting to get worn down by the elements. It's totally misshapen and falling apart. I wonder if the nest still smells like those pretty birds. Or if their scent got carried away in the wind. I want that nest more than anything...
Percy: Oh, I see. So that's why you've been staring up at that tree so intently.
Velouria: The problem is, I don't know how I can get all the way up there. That tree is way too tall to climb.
Percy: Wait... I know just what to do! Let me grab it for you!
Velouria: What? How is that possible?
Percy: Hey, Ace! Come on over here! We've got to fly on up to the top of that tree! (dragon roar)
(Percy leaves)
Velouria: Percy, be careful…
Percy: I got it! This is what you wanted, right?
Velouria: Percy, Ace... Thank you so much. I don't know what to say. I would have just kept watching the nest fall apart without your help.
Percy: It's no problem. We were happy to help. Weren't we, Ace?
Velouria: I want to reward you two for your help. Why don't you smell the nest first? Please, don't hold back.
Percy: That's OK. I think Ace and I are fine.
Velouria: Are you sure? I just know this is going to smell so good... *sniff sniff...* Ahh, that is amazing. I'm so happy now...
Percy: Velouria, you sure are a strange one.

Percy: Good morning, Velouria!
Velouria: Oh, Percy. I see you and Ace are spending the day together again.
Percy: Of course! Ace and I are best pals!
Velouria: Haha, you two really are inseparable. What are you getting up to today?
Percy: Ace and I were gonna spend some time at the lake in a bit.
Velouria: The lake, huh? That sounds fun... Do you think maybe I could... go with you?
Percy: Of course! That would be great. Why don't we head out now? I gotta say, I'm pretty surprised that you even want to go. That seems unlike you, Velouria. Didn't you say that it's easier to be by yourself?
Velouria: Yes, I did. It is more simple to spend time alone with your thoughts... But sometimes I like company. Depending on the person, of course.
Percy: Oh. So you must like Ace and me then.
Velouria: Yes, I do. You're both very good people.
Percy: Ha ha ha! Velouria, Ace is a dragon!
Velouria: I really appreciate you two getting that nest for me. It was very thoughtful... I feel like you're both my close friends now. I don't really have very many.
Percy: Really? I'm so glad to hear you say that! I feel exactly the same way.
Velouria: Hahaha... Thank you, Percy.
Percy: What are we waiting for? Let's go down to the lake already! I think Ace and I are going to do some swimming. What about you, Velouria?
Velouria: I think I'll look around for some fossils when we get there. Apparently they're buried all around that area. So I'll transform into a wolf and start digging. Hopefully I find something good.
Percy: Wow, really? That's so interesting. Could we maybe search with you?
Velouria: Really? You want to? That sounds like a lot of fun to me.
Percy: Yeah! Let's go track down some fossils!
Velouria: OK!

Percy: Velouria! There you are!
Velouria: Oh, Percy. Did something happen?
Percy: Look at what I found.
Velouria: Oh, it's the nest of a migratory bird. Wow, I've never seen one that large before. It's clearly gotten a lot of sunlight, huh? Hmm, there's a pleasant smell wafting through the air... *sniff sniff* How did you find this, Percy?
Percy: Ace and I were just riding around and enjoying the sights. Then we found this old nest sitting on top of a roof.
Velouria: Oh, so that's it... You would never be able to see that from the ground. There's no way I could have found it.
Percy: Here! Take it, Velouria!
Velouria: What? I can have this? Thank you so much. This makes me really happy. But I have a question. Why are you giving it to me?
Percy: That was why I took it in the first place. Ace and I were searching for something that you would enjoy.
Velouria: You did all of this just for me?
Percy: Yeah, we did. You're our good friend. Why wouldn't we?
Velouria: Percy, I don't know what to say...
Percy: We just wanted to make you happy. I thought the nest might help.
Velouria: Thank you so much. I'm glad that we've become friends. You're important to me too.
Percy: That's really nice to hear.
Velouria: I will always treasure this bird's nest.
Percy: I'm just glad that you like it.
Velouria: Would you like to join me the next time I go out hunting for treasures, Percy?
Percy: Of course! That would be a ton of fun! But, Velouria... Wouldn't I just get in the way? I don't want to slow you down.
Velouria: No, it would be more enjoyable to search together. I have a feeling that I might find even more goodies if we work together.
Percy: Yeah! Let's go see what we can scrounge. Though I doubt there'll be any treasure better than you, Velouria!
Velouria: Oh, Percy...

Percy: Oooof! My toe! What's this? Something sticking out of the ground? Well, let's just pull...this...out! Oh. It's a big sack. And it's full of more gold than could feed a town for a year. Hmph. Big surprise.
Ophelia: Percy! Are you all right? I saw that sack lunge at your toe. Is it an evil sack?!
Percy: Whoa, Ophelia. Where'd you come from? No, just the usual—a sack of gold.
Ophelia: The usual? Why, that's incredible. Ha! Do you find gold all the time?
Percy: Yes, and it's no laughing matter. I have the worst luck.
Ophelia: Are you kidding? You must be living under a lucky star if that happens to you.
Percy: It's awful luck, because I always have to find the rightful owner. It's so hard.
Ophelia: How many times has this happened, Percy?
Percy: I've lost count.
Ophelia: Infinitely incredible. Don't you realize what this means? Fate has chosen you to return lost gold. That makes you a chosen one...just like I am.
Percy: Y-you think I'm a chosen one?
Ophelia: We should make sure. There are trials that can verify it. I'll be glad to help test you, if you want to know if you're truly chosen.
Percy: Yes, yes, yes! Let's get started.

B Support

Ophelia: All right, Percy. Ready for your tests?
Percy: Yes! I need to know if I'm a chosen one!
Ophelia: I've prepared two tests. Both will be impossible for any but a chosen one. Whatever happens, don't give up. Pass them both—then we will know if you're among the chosen.
Percy: I'll do my best. What do I do first?
Ophelia: Listen closely. First... You must draw the maiden's tear from a dark prison of rotten corpses.
Percy: Ew! What?!
Ophelia: Sorry—that was the language of the chosen ones. I'll translate for you. This box contains one white bead among hundreds of black ones. Avert your eyes, put your hand inside, then draw out the single white bead.
Percy: Oh, OK. Here goes... And there's your white one!
Ophelia: Outstanding!
Percy: Ha! Am I a chosen one now?
Ophelia: Eager youth, stay your enthusiosity! You have one more test to pass. This box is full of tongue tormentors from the fiery underworld. Except for the one tongue tantalizer from the sweet heavens. They all look the same. Pull one out, and hope it sends you skyward! You know. Eat the sweet one, not the spicy one.
Percy: I think I'll eat...this one. *munch munch* Oh! Yummy!
Ophelia: You did it? That's impossible.
Percy: So I'm a chosen one, right?
Ophelia: Hmm. We need to be really sure. I think there's a third test. Just give me time to research exactly how to do it. Pass that final test—then you WILL be a chosen one.
Percy: Woohoo! Bring it on, Ophelia!

A Support

Ophelia: Time for your third and final test, Percy.
Percy: And then I'll be a chosen one!
Ophelia: Quite the optimist. I like that about you. Now here's your test. See this box in my hand? Reach in through this hole... And wear it like a mitten as you jump through 20 flaming rings.
Percy: What?! That's impossible!
Ophelia: Yes, of course. But one truly chosen will have no problem with all those hoops. Don't forget though—if that box comes off your hand, you fail the test.
Percy: The box?! I'm bound to catch on fire! How is this a test of my luckiness?
Ophelia: It's a test of chosenness.
Percy: Never mind. I'll give it a try! But you'd better stand by with a pail of water! Now, light up the hoops!
Ophelia: Wait, Percy...
Percy: Do it! I'm ready!
Ophelia: No! Percy, I'm sorry. I just can't go through with it.
Percy: Huh? But you promised to test me.
Ophelia: I can't put a friend in such danger. I'm sorry, Percy.
Percy: Aw, that's OK. The other two tests were fun at least. I guess I'll never know if I'm a chosen one though.
Ophelia: Chosen or not, you're still amazing.
Percy: You think so?
Ophelia: And you're the most dutiful person I know. Besides me.
Percy: I do like doing the right thing. So I guess it doesn't matter if I'm chosen!
Ophelia: I guess we both passed each other's tests—the test of friendship!
Percy: Wow, that's really corny, Ophelia. But I guess it's true!

S Support

Percy: Hi, Ophelia!
Ophelia: What's that you've got behind your back? You find another sack of gold?
Percy: They're some sheets of paper that I found on the ground. They're yours, right?
Ophelia: They are! I've been looking for them everywhere.
Percy: They have all sorts of crazy words on them that I've never seen anywhere else.
Ophelia: Those are my charms and incantations.
Percy: For doing what?
Ophelia: All sorts of things, but if you recite this chant here... you'll have a dream in which the person you'll marry will appear.
Percy: Really?
Ophelia: I guarantee it, although I can't say whether it'll be a good or bad dream.
Percy: I don't want to have a nightmare. Especially not if you're going to be chasing me around like a maniac.
Ophelia: Ha! That's quite a nightmare! Hold on. Why did you say that I would be the one in your dreams?
Percy: Um, well...I dunno!
Ophelia: Oh, don't worry about it then. Hey, Percy. I've got another charm I'd like to try. Can I have your hand?
Percy: My hand? Sure!
Ophelia: Now, watch while I wrap this thread around your pinky finger... and wrap the other end around my pinky finger.
Percy: What does this charm do?
Ophelia: The thread represents fate. And I've just bound us together.
Percy: What?!
Ophelia: Oh, do you want me to undo it? All we need to do is snap the thread.
Percy: No, don't! Wrap some more threads around it, Ophelia, so it never breaks.
Ophelia: Aw, cute! But that's not necessary. Just the one thread does the trick. You can keep it safe until we're old enough to get married, OK? Until then, the friendliest of fates will keep us together, Percy!

Percy: Hey! Hey, Soleil!
Soleil: Need something, Percy?
Percy: Sorta. I'll level with you... I'm looking for a mate.
Soleil: What?!
Percy: No, no, no! Not for me! For Ace!
Soleil: Ace? Your dragon?
Percy: Yep. He's about old enough to breed by now. So I'm looking around to see if I can find him a nice mate.
Soleil: OK, but why ask me?
Percy: Because you know how dating works!
Soleil: Percy, you're surrounded by people who know how to do that.
Percy: Yeah, but you're better at it than anyone else. I figured you'd know how to help Ace with his shyness. Maybe you even know some good mates that would help him come out of his shell.
Soleil: I'm not exactly running a dragon dating service, Percy.
Percy: Please! Just try! I don't know anything about this!
Soleil: All right...I'll try. But don't expect much.
Percy: Thanks, Soleil! I owe you one! That's a big load off my back...
(Percy leaves)
Soleil: So much for low expectations. Eh, whatever. I can give it a whirl, for Percy's sake!

B Support

Soleil: Ah! Percy! Did Ace hit it off with the dragon I brought by earlier? That look on your face is a "no," I'm guessing.
Percy: Sorry, Soleil. This one ran away too...
Soleil: That's the seventh one! Why is Ace so picky?!
Percy: He probably doesn't like being alone that long with a strange dragon. Must be why he snaps at them like that...
Soleil: Snaps at them?!
Percy: Everything's fine when I'm with him, but as soon as they're alone...
Soleil: That's horrible! Those poor dragons... I was trying to fix them up. But I have an idea. Percy, are you OK leaving Ace with me for a while?
Percy: What for? What are you up to...?
Soleil: I'm going to drill into his head the RIGHT way to treat a lady.
Percy: But you don't understand! Ace is special...
Soleil: Percy!!
Percy: Aaaah! All right, you can have him! Golly, Soleil, you're kinda scary today.
Soleil: Nipping at his dates, is he? I'll bring a stop to that.
Percy: Oh, OK. Sorry about all this mess, Soleil.

Soleil: Percy!
Percy: Soleil...
Soleil: How did things go with the new girl dragon I brought by? Was Ace a jerk again?
Percy: Not exactly. He didn't snap, but he was shyer than ever!
Soleil: Huh. That's weird. He seemed fine after I taught him a thing or two.
Percy: About that... What exactly did you teach him?
Soleil: How to speak to girls. That is, how to listen attentively, then speak. That's a crucial part of dating that everyone seems to get wrong.
Percy: Well, he never got around to the speaking part. She left.
Soleil: That's odd. I love it when someone truly listens on a date. I suppose it was just a bad match. Or maybe Ace is just hopeless.
Percy: Soleil!
Soleil: Ahahahaha...
Percy: This isn't funny!
Soleil: Whoa, Percy, calm down there...
Percy: I was hoping for some baby dragons. But maybe that isn't even what Ace wants.
Soleil: Maybe not.
Percy: Well, I want him to be happy no matter what. Maybe I'm rushing him. Anyway, thanks for everything, Soleil. You've helped me out a bunch.
Soleil: Sure, Percy. When the time comes, I'll be glad to share dating tips with Ace again!

S Support

Percy: Soleil, we gotta talk.
Soleil: Is finding Ace a mate on your mind again?
Percy: Nah, not this time.
Soleil: So what's the deal?
Percy: I'm looking for someone special...
Soleil: So this IS about Ace. Percy, you can't rush these things. You need to let love bloom naturally.
Percy: I wasn't talking about Ace, though. I meant me. And so I thought to ask you...
Soleil: Sure! I'll give you some tips on how to woo someone.
Percy: No, I mean...me and you...
Soleil: Are you asking me on a date?
Percy: Um, yes?
Soleil: I'm flattered, Percy, but...
Percy: See? I need dating tips even more than Ace did.
Soleil: No, you're doing fine. Very sweet. Very honest.
Percy: Really? So you'll be my wife?!
Soleil: Aaaand we're back to moving way too fast. I think that's your problem, Percy. You've got your whole life in front of you! Don't limit yourself just to the three or four ladies you already know. Consider your options some more. Chase some girls! It's fun!
Percy: Y-yeah, I see your point. Hmm...how about if we go on a practice date? You can show me what I'm doing wrong! Then when I meet someone I really love, I'll be ready!
Soleil: Ahaha, I think you're pretty close to ready as it is, Percy. Heehee, I just realized... You're so sweet, you never needed me to give Ace tips on how to be nice.
Percy: Hey, you're right! Neato! Speaking of Ace, he's not quite ready to start dating yet.
Soleil: Everything in due time. I hope to see him happy as a dragon can be.
Percy: Yeah. We can look after him together, Soleil!
Soleil: He'll never find better caretakers than the two of us together, that's for sure!

Percy: I...I'm sorry for being sorry.
Nina: Oh, why did it turn out like this? I'm such an idiot!
Percy: Nina?
Nina: Look, Percy. I'm trying to THANK you properly for finding my notebook. I'm just terribly awkward when I try to have a normal conversation. I meant to thank you the very first time, but instead I was cranky and weird.
Percy: Huh?

Percy: Hey, don't worry about it! Message received. And thanks for the candy!
Nina: What?
Percy: It's that simple, Nina. You gave me a gift to show your gratitude. I accepted it with a smile. It was really thoughtful of you. This has been your first lesson in human interaction!
Nina: Oh. So what do we do now?
Percy: Well, we could just eat this candy together. And talk about some other stuff.

Percy: Well, whatever. The point is that it's OK to be a little bit weird. How boring would it be if everyone were the exact same? Anyway, it's pretty cute that you were worried about your hobby offending me.
Nina: Stop teasing! You're making me blush!
Percy: Aw, I'm not teasing. I really like you, Nina!
Nina: What? Do you even know what you're saying? It's not nice to joke about that. And anyway...you're too young for me.
Percy: What?! I'm not joking! And I'm definitely not too young. I'm just small boned, OK? So will you be my girlfriend?
Nina: Percy...are you really being serious right now? Because if you're just joking around, I don't know if I could forgive you. So here's your chance to back out. I won't be offended. Do you really like me?
Percy: Yep! Believe it, Nina!

Hisame: It was pretty special, wasn't it? Of course, it doesn't hurt that your wish came true.
Percy: Huh?
Hisame: You haven't heard? People are reporting the most miraculous stories now!
Percy: Really?! Like what?
Hisame: I just heard about a huge battle where everyone escaped without a scratch. Arrows were changing direction midflight! The enemies freaked out and ran away! One guy was...uh...attacked by a bear, but a...bunny rescued him just in time!
Percy: WOW! My wish really DID come true!
Hisame: Well, it's about time you shared some of your good luck with the rest of us. Now, we'll never have to worry again!
Percy: I hate to break it to you, Hisame, but wishing isn't an excuse to slack off. Pop warned me if I always rely on my luck, then I'll never acquire true strength.
Hisame: Wow, Percy. That's very insightful of you... and your father. I should hang around you more often and see if any of that wisdom rubs off on me.
Percy: Haha! That goes both ways, Hisame! You're pretty smart too.
Hisame: Well, you and I should stick together as comrades then.
Percy: C-comrades...? Wha?
Hisame: Sorry, guess I got a little fancy on you there. Let's try cronies...or...teammates...?
Percy: Oh...you mean friends? Count me in, Hisame!

Percy: Ahaha! Over here, Ace! Come on!
Mitama: ...
Percy: Ah, Mitama! Helloooooo!!
Mitama: Percy. You've got a great deal of energy today, it seems.
Percy: Of course, Mitama! And not just today— I'm fit to burst any and every day.
Mitama: I suppose that is true... Filled to the limit / Never too tired to play / Exhausting to watch.
Percy: Ahahah, really? You're tired just from seeing me? I don't believe it.
Mitama: I promise you, it's true... In fact, could we stop talking? It's tiring just speaking with you.
Percy: What?! That's so mean!
Mitama: It may hurt to hear / Yet I still will speak the truth / Honesty is best.
Percy: But...why does it make you tired? I've never met anyone who was made tired by being around energized people.
Mitama: You're tiring because you don't give me even a moment of peace.
Percy: Fine then! I can go elsewhere and be energetic. Let's go, Ace! We can tell when we aren't wanted!
(Percy leaves)
Mitama: After all the sound / A quiet finally falls / I can rest my eyes.

Percy: Mitama! Mitama, wake up!
Mitama: Wha... Ugh, what do you want?
Percy: Good grief! You're gonna get rusty if you just keep sleeping all the time!
Mitama: Skills I sometimes use / Gladly given for quiet / Yet still you wake me.
Percy: Damn right I do! Get up!
Mitama: You must have something incredibly important, to be this insistent. If this isn't a big deal, you'd best prepare yourself for my wrath.
Percy: I just wanted to cheer you up!
Mitama: That's all? You realize that sleeping makes me happy, don't you? For something so dumb / My wrath takes on a new form / A murderous rage.
Percy: Look! You're already more cheerful.
Mitama: What could possibly make you think that?
Percy: You're much more energetic now! I can see your arms shaking with all the energy! Now that you're less tired, you won't feel so drained when you see energetic people.
Mitama: I don't know what to say... Are you serious?
Percy: Of course I am!
Mitama: I...see. Were you that bothered by what I said when we last spoke? You're clearly trying to make up for it, just very unconventionally. I suppose I brought this on myself, though.
Percy: I have other ideas to help keep your energy up, too! Like greeting each other loudly! HELLO, MITAMA!
Mitama: ...Good-bye, Percy.
Percy: No no no, it's HELLO! How could you mess that up? Let's try again! In a louder voice this time! Hey, where are you going?
Mitama: Yelled at this early / I must have slighted some god / This is the worst fate.
Percy: Come on, Mitama! You have to really shout! HELLO, MITAMA!
Mitama: Why is this happening?

A Support

Mitama: HELLO, PERCY!
Percy: Ahhh! Hey, did you just greet me with a super-energized hello? Woohoo! My plan to get you more pumped up is working perfectly!
Mitama: I suppose you could say that.
Percy: I knew it would work! Isn't it great to feel so active all the time, Mitama?
Mitama: Not in the slightest / I miss the quiet of sleep / The calm of my rest.
Percy: Really? But then why...?
Mitama: Because I know that you will not leave me be unless I play along. Honestly, I hoped that you would move on once it seemed like you'd won.
Percy: Awww, is that the only reason you acted so excited and energetic?
Mitama: That's what you wanted, wasn't it? I was actually energized in that moment.
Percy: You were, but...if it won't last, then it all feels kind of pointless.
Mitama: Don't worry; when I look at you now, I don't get tired seeing your energy.
Percy: Really?! That's great!
Mitama: I've spent enough time with you lately to understand you a little better. While annoying, your cheerful energy can be appealing at times. Be energetic / I am your ally and friend / For better or worse.
Percy: Ahaha! I'm glad to hear that!
Mitama: And I must apologize for saying such harsh things to you before. It was uncalled for and rude on my part.
Percy: Oh, don't worry about that. We can just go forward from here on out!
Mitama: Excellent. And now that we've settled all of that... will you allow me to be lazy when I like? I think you can handle being a ball of energy all on your own.
Percy: No problem!
Mitama: No more sudden shouts / I can rest and be content / All is right and calm.
Percy: SLEEP WELL, MITAMA!
Mitama: *sigh*
Percy: Oops. Sorry...

Percy: Hey there, Mitama.
Mitama: Percy? What do you need?
Percy: I'm curious... What kind of person do you like?
Mitama: The kind of person I like? Do you mean romantically?
Percy: Yes, exactly!
Mitama: Hmmm... I suppose someone who doesn't drive me crazy. He'd have to not be selfish, and definitely not a chatterbox.
Percy: Oh. And you don't care what he looks like?
Mitama: No. I'm more concerned with compatibility over appearance. If I wasn't comfortable with that person most of the time, I don't think it'd last.
Percy: Well, what about...me, for example?
Mitama: Confusion abounds / Do you seek my attentions? / Is this flirtation?
Percy: I do! It is!
Mitama: Hmmm. I would be lying if I said I hadn't given it a little thought. But you and I really are quite different. You're always so lively and excitable, whereas I much prefer to relax. It isn't an exaggeration to say that—in that way at least—we are a terrible match.
Percy: Th-that's not true!
Mitama: You really think so?
Percy: I think that my being super active means you can be lazy more! I'm being active for the both of us.
Mitama: Heehee. I suppose that is a good point. If we were both lazy, it would make life incredibly difficult.
Percy: Now you're getting it. So really we are quite compatible!
Mitama: Wouldn't it be a lot of trouble for you to make up for my relaxed nature?
Percy: Not in the least! I would actually enjoy it. Especially since that would mean I'd be with someone I really cared about. I'd work as hard as I needed to, in that case!
Mitama: He almost says it / A phrase that makes it all clear / But can he do it?
Percy: What?
Mitama: Is there something you wanted to say to me, Percy? Maybe something that clearly states how you feel?
Percy: Hm? Oh! Mitama, I love you. Um... You make me so happy / I can't express how much / Together forever.
Mitama: *twitch* ...Close enough. I love you too, Percy.
Percy: Really?! YAAAAAY!
Mitama: Heehee. Just remember—you said it first, so you can't blame me for my laziness!
Percy: I'll never regret this moment! I'll overcome any hardship for you.
Mitama: I like that. I'm counting on you, Percy.

Rhajat: Shut your blubbering lips, you fool! I curse you now—you're doomed to drool! Muhahaha!
Percy: Are you talking to me?
Rhajat: No! What are you doing here?
Percy: I just heard some weird chanting and thought I should investigate. So...who were you talking to?
Rhajat: It's none of your business. But if you must know, I was cursing a local shopkeep.
Percy: Why?!
Rhajat: Because he's an old fool! He almost overcharged me! And he couldn't stop talking about his boring old clothes. Well, now he won't be talking much. I cursed him to drool for three days nonstop. Haha!
Percy: Are you sure he wasn't just trying to help you? This doesn't sound right to me, Rhajat...
Rhajat: Who cares what you think! Just leave me alone, OK? Unless you want me to curse you, too!
Percy: No...I definitely don't want that...but I have to stand up for what's right!
Rhajat: Hmph. Whatever. I guess I won't curse you this time.
Percy: Whew!

Percy: Aw, come on, Ace. Drink a little water. It'll help you feel better…
Rhajat: What's the matter with that dragon of yours? Human skull stuck in its throat?
Percy: Human skull? Ace doesn't eat people! At least, I don't think he does...
Rhajat: Oh. Boring. Anyway, what's wrong with him?
Percy: I don't know! He's been making the most awful noises, and he won't move...
Rhajat: Demon dragon, hear my call! Breath of fire, breath of—
Percy: STOP!
Rhajat: What's wrong?
Percy: You were gonna curse Ace, weren't you? I know he's sick, but he'll get better! You don't have to curse him to death!
Rhajat: Curse him to death? I was trying to help him, you fool!
Percy: Oh! You...you can do that?
Rhajat: I could. But maybe I've changed my mind. Maybe I will curse him to death...
Percy: No! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! Please, help him!
Rhajat: Ugh, fine. Just stop whining.
Percy: Yay!
Rhajat: I'll have to try a different spell now. Let me think... Ah! Cough and wheeze, choke and sputter... Expel what's causing you to shudder! See that? He coughed up some kind of fruit. It must have been stuck in his throat.
Percy: Wow, he's back to normal. Thank you so much, Rhajat! You're the best!
Rhajat: You...you shouldn't say that...

Percy: Hey, Rhajat! I got something for you!
Rhajat: Must you always be so excitable? Anyway...what is it?
Percy: I got you some new clothes! Remember that shopkeep you cursed a while back? I knew you wouldn't want to go back there, so I went for you. What do you think?
Rhajat: Ah, yes. The blubbering shopkeep. But you didn't need to do this.
Percy: Well, I wanted to do something to thank you for healing Ace.
Rhajat: I see. Well, thank you, I suppose.
Percy: You're all right, you know that?
Rhajat: What do you mean?
Percy: I guess I used to think you were kind of a weirdo who just loved cursing people. But it turns out you're actually a kind person.
Rhajat: Your first impression was actually quite accurate. But thank you. Let me take a closer look at those clothes you got me...
Percy: You bet! I hope you like 'em...
Rhajat: ...They're all dragon themed.
Percy: Yep! Great, right?
Rhajat: Just to clarify... You expected me to WEAR these?
Percy: What? You don't like 'em?
Rhajat: Well, it's not that... It's just... I appreciate the thought.
Percy: Great! I knew it!
Rhajat: *sigh*

Percy: Whoa...it's so dark in here. What are you doing in here all alone in the dark?
Rhajat: Do I need a reason?
Percy: No, I guess not. You just seem to spend a lot of time by yourself. Are you lonely?
Rhajat: I don't know. I guess I'm just a gloomy person. Most people don't like me. But that's OK, because I don't like them, either.
Percy: That sounds terrible!
Rhajat: It's not so bad. If I really need to talk to someone, I can always summon a Faceless. They're good listeners and surprisingly helpful with menial tasks. Once you bend them to your will, of course...
Percy: Well. I like you, Rhajat.
Rhajat: What do you mean by that?
Percy: What do YOU mean by THAT? I like you! It's a simple statement!
Rhajat: You better not be teasing me right now! Or I'll curse you SO hard...
Percy: I'm serious! Like I said, at first I thought you were kind of strange. And then I realized that you're just unique. And that's neat! You helped heal Ace, and you're a fun person to talk to.
Rhajat: OK. Let's hold hands, then.
Percy: Um...OK...
Rhajat: I think I like you, too, Percy. But your normal is my weird, so I want to take it really slowly. Let's just hold hands and go for a walk.
Percy: Cool! Where should we walk?
Rhajat: Somewhere desolate, of course.
Percy: Right! Romantic yet desolate walk, coming right up! Give me your hand!
Rhajat: How interesting. Human hands are much warmer when they're attached to a live human...
