The Parallel Falchion (Japanese: 裏剣ファルシオン Reverse Sword Falcion) is a regalia sword introduced in Fire Emblem Awakening. It is the variant of Falchion wielded by Lucina, which she brought back with her when she travelled back through time to prevent Grima's rebirth. It reappears in Fates along with Lucina via amiibo interaction.
History
In her future, Lucina inherited Falchion after Chrom's death at the hands of Grima. Before Lucina travelled back in time, she performed an incomplete rite of Awakening which increased Falchion's power but failed to unlock its full potential, transforming it into the Parallel Falchion.[1]

Other appearances
Monster Hunter: Frontier G
The Wii U version of Monster Hunter: Frontier G features the Parallel Falchion as a usable weapon, as part of a crossover promotion with Awakening. Accompanying the Lucina armor set, the Parallel Falchion (Japanese: 裏剣ファルシオンI Reverse Sword Falcion I) is paired with the Fire Emblem to form a shield and single-handed sword set.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U
Lucina wields the Parallel Falchion in her playable appearance in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Like Marth, from whom she was cloned, Lucina uses the Parallel Falchion for all of her attacks except her pummel and throws. In contrast to Marth's Falchion, the Parallel Falchion has no sweet spot and deals consistent damage across the blade's length, generally making Lucina's attacks more consistent but less potent overall.

Miitomo
As part of a collaboration coinciding with the release of Fire Emblem Heroes, an accessory based on the Parallel Falchion was made available in Miitomo. Between February 3rd and March 2nd, 2017, users had the opportunity to purchase it from the Miitomo Shop.[3]
