Upon first glance, Nohrden Line may seem overwhelming with its demands of having to balance many different details at once. Take a deep breath, and work on one detail at a time. Warping a powerful unit to the end is another option as well.
Ilios is a powerful mage knight with Bolting and a Meisterschwert, but recruiting him with Karin can turn the odds in your favor; just be careful with the nearby ballistae and arch knights, and remember that Olwen must be killed or unrecruited. Kempf doesn't have his Meisterschwert and can now take bonus damage, so don't be intimidated by him. Also take note that some of the front-line cavaliers have Sleep Swords equipped, which can help with recruiting Misha in the next chapter.
Recruiting Sleuf requires a Bridge Key (the middle village has one), a flying unit, or a warp staff use, but he has an A-rank in staves for your troubles. Do be careful, however, that he doesn't take any serious hits.
Interestingly, Conomor will show up on turn 20 with a Nihil Manual, but perhaps the more enticing detail is that defeating him here will cause him not to re-appear later. Don't make it an obligation, however.
