Appearance(s)

We have my armored infantry and Bishop Moore's magicians defending the castle gate. Reinhardt's Gelb Ritter will be attacking the enemy from the rear. We have also called for Silesse's Pegasus Knights for extra backup. With all these forces, we will able to defend against anything.
— Nikalaf reassuring Gustaf that they have many forces present to defend Leonster

Nikalaf (Japanese: ニカラフ Nikalaf) is a boss appearing in Chapter 17A of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. He is in the service of Gustaf and is charged with guarding the main entrance to Leonster castle.

Fire Emblem: Thracia 776

Role

Nikalaf is the primary boss of Chapter 17A; he is directly situated on the entrance to Leonster castle. Assisting him are Misha, a Silesseian Pegasus Knight and Moore, a Loptrian Dark Bishop.

Before Leonster commences their full assault Nikalaf tells Gustaf that their troops and incoming reinforcements will be enough to wipe out the enemy. If Saias arrives while Nikalaf is still alive, Nikalaf is very happy to see him; Saias's presence provides a huge morale boost to the troops present.

Despite Nikalaf's reinforcements and preparations he is defeated by Leif's forces.

Personality and character

While Nikalaf has little dialogue he appears to be loyal to Gustaf. He was very confident, not seeming to be to the point of arrogance, in his ability to defeat Leif's forces but lost anyway.
