The Necromancer (Japanese: ネクロマンサー Necromancer) is an advanced magical class which appears only in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. This class is exclusive to Lyon, the game's main antagonist, and is similar to a more powerful version of the playable Summoner class. The class is enemy-only in the main story, but becomes a playable class in the game's post-game Creature Campaign mode, when Lyon himself is unlocked as the final bonus character in that mode.
Wielding sinister powers derived from the Dark Stone, or in other words from the Demon King himself, Lyon as a Necromancer boasts fearsome raw magical power, HP, defense and resistance as well as good skill and speed, all stats worthy of a penultimate boss. He wields dark magic and staves, and also has access to the rare Summon skill, with the phantoms he creates with this skill being stronger than those created by normal Summoners.

Trivia
- In the opening class roll, a Necromancer is seen casting the Thunder spell. This is impossible both in the Japanese and international versions, as Necromancers have no access to anima magic.
- The Necromancer is the only class in The Sacred Stones which can obtain multiple S weapon ranks.
- The Necromancer's design and battle sprite bears a strong resemblance to that of the Dark Prince, the exclusive class of another endgame boss, Julius from Genealogy of the Holy War.
