| At the start of this part of the chapter, Ike is now able to use the one weapon that can negate the the Black Knight's invulnerability: Ragnell. However, simply possessing the sacred blade does not mean that the duel would be easy, far from it in fact. Even with capped strength or speed, it is still not possible for Ike to double attack the Black Knight. The only other unit that accompanies Ike is Mist, who is able to heal the former; if she is defeated at any point in the game prior to the duel, then Ike's only source of healing are via items, meaning he has to sacrifice his turn to recover health. Even though Ike is theoretically able to defeat the Black Knight by continually chipping away his health and heal himself when needed, there is a hidden time limit of 5 turns. Without Aether or a Wrath-empowered critical hit, there is no way for Ike to defeat the Black Knight within the 5 turn time limit. If Ike does not have the stats or skills needed to defeat the Black Knight within the time limit, he can escape via the southern portion of the map, allowing the player to continue the story. However, doing this will affect which unit will join Ike's team in the next chapter. Furthermore, if a Game Over occurs due to Ike getting killed, the player will have to start the previous part all over again. | | At the start of this part of the chapter, Ike is now able to use the one weapon that can negate the Black Knight's invulnerability: Ragnell.
