Fire Emblem Gaiden

Mire (Japanese: スライム Slime) is a magic spell introduced in Fire Emblem Gaiden. In Gaiden and its remake, Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, Mire is a black magic spell with moderate power and no special effect; in Gaiden and vanilla Echoes, Mire is wielded exclusively by enemy units, with a DLC package in the latter required in order for the player to legitimately wield Death for themselves. In Awakening, Mire is a dark tome and the game's only long-range tome.
