Merach (Japanese: ムラク Mulark) is a Macedonian knight and the boss of chapter 5 of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and its remakes, Mystery of the Emblem Book 1 (where it is chapter 4) and Shadow Dragon. Merach and his band have set themselves outside Castle Aurelis and have set their sights on preventing Marth and his army from coming to the aid of the country's king and a visting princess, but are eventually defeated by a combination of Marth, Hardin, and their respective armies.
