Marcellus was the brother and successor of Anri as the King of Altea. All subsequent Altean kings are his descendants.
Biography
Marcellus was living with his brother Anri on the remote Altea islands. When Artemis, the princess of Archanea, came in hiding to flee the Dolhr Empire, Anri decided to fight against Dolhr and slayed the Shadow Dragon. Following Medeus's death, in the year 500, Anri founded the Kingdom of Altea in the islands of his homeland, and became its first king. As Anri died unmarried and childless in the year 537, Marcellus succeded him as the new king of Altea. His ascension sparked a dispute among the nobility resulting in the foundation of Gra, which would still remain a close Altean ally for decades.
