Lugh (Japanese: ルゥ Lugh) is a playable character in FE6. He first appears in Chapter 3. | |||
He comes from an orphanage in Araphen, where he grew up with his twin brother Raigh and Chad, who became his best friend. He is the son of Nino and potentially either Erk, Jaffar, or an unspecified spouse of Nino's. | |||
In FE13, Lugh returns as an extra playable character, and he also makes an appearance in some of the DLC chapters. | |||
==FE6== | |||
===Role=== | |||
Lugh is a Lycian child who lost his parents at the age of four. He and his twin brother ended up in an orphanage in Araphen, where they meet Chad. Lugh striked a fast friendship with him. At some point before the game's events, Lugh discovered he could use magic. | |||
Lugh's life changed completely when Bern attacked Araphen Castle. The orphanage where he lived was destroyed, and the father who cared for them was killed for trying to defend their small garden. Lugh was too shocked to do something else than protecting the younger children, and so, he did not realized Chad was missing until it was too late. | |||
After making sure the children went under the Elimine Church's protection, Lugh decides to follow Chad and join him in his quest for revenge. When he finally catches up with his friend, Chad tries to send him back with the others, to what Lugh absolutely refuses. Some protests later, Chad accepts his company, and they join Roy's army for the rest of the war. | |||
In the Western Isles, Lugh finally finds his missing brother, and after some prodding, he manages to convince Raigh of joining the Lycian Army. | |||
Once Bern is defeated and the war is over, Lugh founds a magic school for orphans in the same place where the orphanage was. Over the years, many of the students from his school would become famous and powerful sages. | |||

==Personality and character== | |||
Lugh is a kind and optimistic child. He likes to help the other members of the army as much as possible, even if it is just by running errands or sharing food. He also tries his best to keep people in good spirits. Whenever one of his comrades is in danger, he does not hesitate to leave what he is doing and go to help them.<ref>{{Cite|Lugh: Sister Elen!<br>Elen: Lugh? Family is very important for Lugh, and it is something that goes beyond blood bonds, as he considers Chad to be his brother.<ref>{{Cite|Lugh: Then what?<br>Chad: How can I say this...? “ | I'm sorry for lying... But I've chosen not to run away anymore. | ” | — Lugh when deciding to go after Chad. |
---|
Lugh (Japanese: ルゥ Lugh) is a playable character in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. He first appears in Chapter 3.
He comes from an orphanage in Araphen, where he grew up with his twin brother Raigh and Chad, who became his best friend. He is the son of Nino and potentially either Erk, Jaffar, or an unspecified spouse of Nino's.
In Fire Emblem Awakening, Lugh returns as an extra playable character, and he also makes an appearance in some of the DLC chapters.
Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade
Role
Lugh is a Lycian child who lost his parents at the age of four. He and his twin brother ended up in an orphanage in Araphen, where they meet Chad. Lugh striked a fast friendship with him. At some point before the game's events, Lugh discovered he could use magic.[1]
Lugh's life changed completely when Bern attacked Araphen Castle. The orphanage where he lived was destroyed, and the father who cared for them was killed for trying to defend their small garden.[2] Lugh was too shocked to do something else than protecting the younger children, and so, he did not realized Chad was missing until it was too late.

Personality and character
Lugh is a kind and optimistic child. He likes to help the other members of the army as much as possible, even if it is just by running errands or sharing food. He also tries his best to keep people in good spirits. Whenever one of his comrades is in danger, he does not hesitate to leave what he is doing and go to help them.[3] He becomes anxious at the mere idea of seeing them hurt[4] or being separated from them;[5] this could be a result of the traumatic experiences he went through in Araphen.
Family is very important for Lugh, and it is something that goes beyond blood bonds, as he considers Chad to be his brother.[6] He was truly worried about Raigh's sudden disappearance, feeling he was a burden to his brother.[7] Although he doubts his own worth in battle, he keeps fighting for what he believes in, stating he does not want to just be protected.[8] He tends to think the best of people,[9] but seems to have trouble understanding others' indirect actions or intentions.[10]

I can't let others die for me my whole life!" — Chapter 3, Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade - ↑ "Lugh: [...] Oh, one more thing. You should at least respond when you're spoken to! I don't mind that much, but strangers might get ideas. They might think that you're antisocial or something.
Raigh: Well, they'd be right. ...But whatever. My dear brother is as naive as ever." — Lugh and Raigh's C support, Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade - ↑ "Chad: I didn't steal them, all right? The other day I came across an old lady who lost her key, so I helped her out and she gave me these shoes as thanks.
Lugh: Then why don't you wear them? She gave them to you, not me.
Chad: No, it's all right. My shoes aren't as beat up as yours, and besides, they're a little small for me anyway.
Lugh: But we're the same size. If they're small for you, they must be small for me, too." — Chad and Lugh's B support, Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade
