List of summoning events in Fire Emblem Heroes
There have been multiple summoning events (interchangeably referred to as summoning focuses, and colloquially referred to as banners) in the history of Fire Emblem Heroes. This page lists all of the current summoning events, while its subpages list all of the events in the history of the game divided by what quarter of the year they began in.
Percent chances
Chances to obtain a 5★ unit increase by .5% (split in half for regular 5★ and 5★ Focus, so each gets a .25% increase) every five times a 5★ hero is failed to be summoned; 4★ goes down about .3% and 3★ about .2%. After 120 failed attempts, the percent chance is raised to 100% of getting a 5★ hero. When at least one 5★ hero is summoned, the rates return to normal after the session is finished.
On August 7th, 2017, the percent chances for 3★ and 4★ units were swapped, as detailed below, so that players have a greater chance of summoning 4★ heroes.
With the addition of the 4★ Special rate on February 5, 2021, for all summoning events going forward, the appearance rate for 4★ Heroes was slightly decreased to account for this change.
Certain summoning events will use adjusted appearance rates, typically increasing the chance of summoning a 5★ Focus Hero.

Full character summoning pools
The tables below detail information about the current summoning pools in the game without regard to the focus summoning events—in other words, those that draw from the percentage points not distributed to "5★ Focus" in the above percentage tables. Characters in "New Heroes" events are typically added to these pools after the conclusion of their "New Heroes" summoning event; typically, the majority of the focus units are added to the 5★ table, while one of them will instead be added to the 4★ and 3★ tables. The 3★ pool notably did not change between the game's initial launch and April 10, 2018, with the Tiki & Nowi's Battle summoning event being the first subject to draw from an expanded 3★ pool; later updates would periodically drop the rarity of 4★ and 5★ Heroes to be summonable at 3★ and 4★ rarities, and recent summoning events have added these Heroes directly to the 3★ and 4★ tables immediately after their debut focus events end. With the version 5.2.0 update, a new permanent summoning pool was added for the first time, the 4★ Special pool, consisting of all 5★ units released between the game's launch and August 2018, and would first be implemented starting on February 5, 2021, with the 4th Anniversary Hero Fest and Love of a King summoning events.
Also included below is a table of characters who have appeared in a focus summoning event but did not join the regular summoning pools afterward; most of these are special variant Heroes that appeared in "Special Heroes" summoning events or other focus Heroes that debuted in "Legendary Heroes" or "Mythic Heroes" summoning events and are typically only available during limited-time periods.
Non-special characters whose initial summoning events are still ongoing are not included in any of the below tables; they will be added once they actually become part of the regular summoning pools when their "New Heroes" event ends.

Trivia
- While the in-game order of characters in summoning lists may seem somewhat random after color and weapon, the reason for this is that the order is unchanged from the Japanese version of the game. After color and weapon, characters are sorted by their Japanese names in gojūon order, the standard Japanese ordering of kana characters.
