Well, now we have something to play with. Take those who are free and set up a defense.
— Linecock upon seeing Leif's approaching forces

(Japanese: ラインコック Linecock) is the boss of Chapter 16B of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. He is the guardian of a Loptyrian monastery in Melfiye forest; now known as the Dark Forest by locals due to the strong Loptyrian influence.

Fire Emblem: Thracia 776

Role

Linecock serves as Chapter 16B's boss. He watches Leif and his allies enter the forest through his orb and mobilizes the available fighters within the monastery to meet them. Linecock is a nuisance as he will attempt to berserk Leif's forces to cause chaos. During the battle he makes a weak effort to prevent Sara from leaving the temple on a walk, though he is unsuccessful in keeping her there.

Linecock is either defeated or captured by Leif's forces during the battle.

Personality and character

Linecock is a malicious priest of the Loptyrian order and is all to happy to put his Berserk Staff to use on Leif's forces when they approach. For some reason, possibly due to her close relation to Manfroy, he appears to be intimidated by Sara; he advises her, with a stutter, that she should not leave the monastery while a battle is going on but makes no physical attempts to return her indoors when she insists on going out for a walk anyway.
