Lifetaker (生命吸収 Life Absorb) is a healing skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Awakening. In Awakening and Fates, it is a class skill associated with the Dark Knight class which heals half of the user's HP when they kill an enemy unit during their own turn of movement; in Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, it is a passive skill associated with the Shadow Sword and Devil Axe with largely the same effect but without the own-phase restriction.
