Karel (カレル, Kareru) is a swordmaster in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. He is the elder brother of Karla, uncle to Fir, and brother-in-law to Bartre.

Short: Retired to a small village in Bern.

Long: Karel retired to a small village in the mountains of Bern and lived his life in peace. Although many swordsmen came to him seeking direction, he never did teach any of them directly. However, many said that they were able to seek out their path simply by training at his side.
