Joint Hone Defense (Japanese: 守備の相互鼓舞 Mutual Defense Inspiration) is a passive type C skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; Joint Hone Defense comes in only one tier, but is comparable to a fourth tier of Fortify Defense; users with Joint Hone Defense a grant temporary boost to the Defense of the user and their adjacent allies every turn.
