Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Isadora is a prepromoted paladin that joins in either chapter 21 (Eliwood route) or chapter 22 (Hector route), she has fairly decent bases and high weapon levels, but low growths in every area besides HP and speed. One weakness that people often mention is Isadora's low constitution which makes most weapons, especially axes, slow her down and ocassionaly stops her from doubling. This isn't too big of an issue thanks to the low speed of most enemies in the Blazing Blade, but it can be something worth taking into account. Another one of her weaknesses is her somewhat low bulk, making her supcetible to getting overwhelmed by the high quantity of enemies in the later chapters, luckely this can usually be fixed by giving her an angelic robe. Other than that Isadora usually won't be on par with Marcus and other cavaliers that have been trained up and promoted, however this means very little as the paladin class gives Isadora access to reliable 1-2 range, 8 move, high aid, canto and 3 weapon types meaning that she has complete control over the weapon triangle. Overall, thanks to her decent bases, weapon levels and excellent class Isadora can be a fairly useful unit on almost every team. She usually won't be as affective as some other trained up units, but because of the fact she gives the player excellent utility at zero investment of experience or promotion item means that there's rarely any reason not to use her.
