Innes' Bow (Japanese: ヒーニアスの的弓 Heanius's Precise Bow) is a unique bow introduced in Fire Emblem Awakening. It is one of a number of weapons named for characters from earlier Fire Emblem series installments, deriving its name from Innes of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It is characterised primarily by its excellent accuracy, having the highest hit of any weapon in Awakening.

Trivia

  • Unusually, the bow denotes Innes's possession of it using only an apostrophe (as in Innes' Bow) rather than an apostrophe and the letter S (as in Innes's Bow). Although this is considered grammatically acceptable when indicating the possessive for nouns already ending with the letter S, of which "Innes" is one, it is uncommon in official English translations of the Fire Emblem series, including the rest of Awakening. Other cases of possessive nouns in this situation take the opposite approach (see: Ninis's Grace, Metis's Tome, Kris's Confect), so odds favor "Innes's Bow" being the correct name of this weapon.
