Initiate Seal Resistance (Japanese: 鍛錬の証・魔防 Proof of Tempering · Magic Defense) is a Sacred Seal skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; it exists in three tiers: Initiate Seal Res 1, Initiate Seal Res 2, and Initiate Seal Res 3. Initiate Seal Res is functionally identical to the Resistance + skill, simply increasing the unit's Resistance while equipped; however, it is not counted by the game as a duplicate of the Resistance + seal or the functionally identical Squad Ace C seal, and so a unit may possess all of these seals at the same time.
