Inevitable End (Japanese: 負の連鎖 Negative Chain) is a combat skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. It is a powerful skill available only to enemies which greatly improves the effectiveness of stat debuffs inflicted by their weapons. When a unit with Inevitable End deals multiple hits with the same debuff-inflicting weapon to the same target, the debuffs will stack and accumulate with every hit, breaking the rule that normally locks each stat into being debuffed only once at a time and, potentially, applying much higher stat reductions to the player's army than the player could do to enemies.[1] Future debuffs applied by units other than this skill's user will also stack.[2]
