Hidden treasure locations in Path of Radiance

In Path of Radiance, hidden treasure collection rates are as follows:

• Thieves: 100% chance
• All other units: (Skill +1)% chance
• Stefan (or his Vague Katti) has a 100% find chance regardless of who checks his tile (Stefan joins if checked by Lethe or Mordecai first, he gives visitor the Vague Katti if anyone else checks it first).

Hidden treasure locations in Radiant Dawn

In Radiant Dawn, hidden treasure collection rates are as follows:

• (Skill + biorhythm bonus + thief bonus)% chance

  Biorhythm bonus is +10% for Good, +20% for Best, −10% for Bad, and −20% for Worst.

  Thief bonus is +60% if the unit is a Thief, Rogue, or Whisper.

• In the Japanese version, any playable unit is guaranteed to pick up hidden items on their first try in Part IV Prologue, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2.
• In both versions, Stefan is a 100% find chance if his tile is checked by Micaiah (or Lethe or Mordecai with a data transfer) in Part IV Chapter 3.
