Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light

The Hero Crest is one of several promotion items in the Fire Emblem series.

In the original Archanea games, it was used to promote mercenaries to heroes. Its use was later extended to myrmidons and fighters, and, in Fuuin no Tsurugi, to pirates and brigands.

In the remakes of the Archanea games, though, it was replaced by the Master Seal.

The hero crest is available in five games: Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi, Monshou no Nazo, Fuuin no Tsurugi, Blazing Sword, and The Sacred Stones.
