Possible policy change?

Should the "no images" rule be removed? A few people use images in their signatures, and I haven't really enforced the ban much. PikaSamus (talk) 17:59, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

Another thing is the idea that you can have whatever you want as the text in your signature. I think having your username be a requirement (or at least a variation thereof) would be preferable. PikaSamus (talk) 18:07, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

My personal thoughts on images in signatures is that I don't like them, but I don't know if it needs to be banned. I think it could be limited to one non-animated image with 16x16px size. PikaSamus (talk) 20:40, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

According to the current policy, images are forbidden from custom signatures because they are too distracting. However, I do not personally find this to be an issue. As long as we set a reasonable limit, such as a single, small image per signature, I would support this change. Anferensis (talk) 03:01, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
